Thus the Prickyard was added to argue and B*tch about the differences in opinions about responsible mongering among other things. I have said many things in the Newbie blog about being responsible. Most of my comments I think are common sense but some mongers lack my recognition of common sense. I feel we do deal with bad mongers in many ways, especially if we know who they are. The problem are the ones who hide like cowards and are difficult to identify. Starting a blog to discuss it won't change those that don't give a fuck. If you want to add your list to the Newbies blog go ahead. If discussion about your list is needed then we can bring it back to the Prickyard because I will delete discussions in the Newbies blog to try and keep it clean and mainly full of information not a chat room.

The H addict issue has been talked about a lot and is very recent so chime in on that.

Legalize all drugs and prostitution. Some will argue that legalizing drugs will cause overdoses and therefore hospital bills will be passed on to them, I know it sounds harsh, but I don't think recreational drug overdoses should be treated at hospitals unless someone is willing to accept the cost. If you are doing drugs, then you know the risks.

I don't do drugs, and I don't want to see a provider that does. I am aware of the risks involved in that type of recreational behavior, so I stay as clear as possible. The freedom side of me says that if you want to see a Leslie, then have it. The only time I would say anything is bad mongering is if it is endangering someone elses life or livelihood without them knowing.

Responsible mongering is a whole different story. Freckle Freak is what I call a responsible monger. He goes into situations knowing what is laid out in front of him, then reports back what he saw. If he sees an H user, he would tell you. If he sees an awesome provider he will tell you. He shares all the information he has and lets you decide. Some are going to say that he comes down on people for seeing H users, NO he does not. He comes down on people who see an H user and then report to the rest of us that the provider is clean, well behaved, and good to go. It is up to us to make our own decisions, whether they be good or bad. Could Leslie provide me an experience that I would be happy with, of course she can. I am not going to take the risk of catching a good experience with her knowing all of the chances of having a REALLY bad time with her or her bf.

Covenent said he was not Captain SaveAHoe, or something like that, and that is fine. No one should be. What we all need to be is honest with ourselves and each other and realize that when we see these types of providers we are helping them kill themselves, put ourselves at risk, put each other at risk, and being bad mongers by not telling all the facts. I don't understand why someone would take the risk with Leslie. If its the cost, I saw a provider near her that only charged me $ for the same service Leslie was charging $. 2. If it is the CCL (concentration camp look), there are other clean providers that have that look for her same pricing. If it is the chance for BBFS, again I know of a provider who will offer that also. I don't understand taking the risk, but maybe that's what someone is after, the risk.

H is clearly across that line.

But if we can use this forum as a tool to identify problem providers, we can identify problem clients as well. If its just an issue of, "take a shower, brush your teeth, and get some decent clothes you dirtbag", maybe a pm would be enough. If its a monger being crazy or abusive in a non-consensual way, could be we need to do something more.

Aside from filing my federal taxes each year, very little saddens me anymore. But every once in a while, the loss of someone famous seems to hit me pretty hard. The strange thing is, I can't explain why.

It happened when Vincent Price passed away.

And now again with Gene Wilder.

Maybe the countless failed stunts on the Redline BMX bike had something to do with my random sadness. Or maybe it was Shields and Yarnell leaving the Sonny and Cher show. Maybe that's why I like to dress up like Cher now. Maybe I really SHOULD have eaten my vegetables. Doesn't matter.
