Years ago I remember hearing one of JSO's finest talk to a reporter about how prostitution has changed. In other words with the advent of the internet, he was saying prostitution has gone underground, so to speak, and not happening as much on street corners. ...not discussing explicit details but the reason I mentioned it is because many of the girls tell me that guys are very explicit with them over the phone. They feel if they don't tell the guys what they want to hear that they'd lose the business to which I tell them, "lose it!" But they're so money hungry. It's not as far fetched as you might think though. These guys (LEO) are in the biz of catching lawbreakers and sometimes they setup sophisticated stings to catch folks. Think about people who have arrest warrants out there. The cops setup some elaborate sting where they send notices to these jokers letting them know they've won a plasma TV or a trip to Europe or whatever. So they tell them they have to come to some place to claim their prize. They unwittingly go to these places and as soon as they show up, they find out they've been hoodwinked as they're getting arrested! Really hilarious! The whole idea is to keep the undercover safe and in the scenario I provided, this is the best way to do it.

If I've figured out a way to keep their undercover safe, you know they've already determined they can do it this way because they certainly wouldn't want her to go into some unknown place. It's not unusual for some providers to want to meet for drinks or coffee before an appt. Some providers prefer this in order to see if there is any chemistry or to see if they can figure out who you are. April, who advertises on BP, likes to meet for drinks and I've known other providers to do the same and there are guys out there who don't mind such meetings. Taking her word alone can be problematic but again, having a good audio / visual system in place can be the hurt of you.

Remember though, don't be so focused on the fact that prostitution is just a misdemeanor crime because typically when LEO does these stings, people get more than prostitution charges. They get people, in these stings, for drugs, outstanding warrants, pimping, ladies bringing their little ones to these stings (stupid), sex trafficking, etc. If it was just prostitution by itself, that might be one thing, but LEO is looking to score bigger points than just simple prostitution. And also remember, it is not uncommon for police officers to use civilians to help them take down criminals- this is why they call them informants! A certified prostitute can work in this same capacity! Remember also, people have been implicated in crimes because when those jokers were in jail, they ran their mouth to another jailbird who told the prosecutors about it and not only did the snitch get a reduced sentence, but the stupid diarrhea of the mouth criminal got got! Which I've personally seen before. To get caught up in a drug bust would be horrible.
