Not likely this is a new spot. But once in a while you get lucky in this area. Olympic is just south of 8th and sometimes traveling eastbound on it from Soto you might get lucky.

Anyway, that whole setup is a huge red flag. Not just for LE, but for safety's sake as well. Imagine you pull into the hotel. From the setup you describe, thats the only option. Where do you go if there are pimps / thugs / people looking to rob you, etc.
