One thing I will do (and this is just me because there is no 'right' way or 'best' way to work it) is be direct with my expectations as in "I'm looking for a discrete friend I can cuddle with occasionally' or something. I travel a lot too and I play the distant stuff different from the local stuff since I can go out for drinks, dinner, whatever and play it a little more.

If the topic of allowance comes up then I say with my crazy schedule I prefer to give allowance by the date.

Recently I have changed strategy as in I don't jump on the new ones on the 1st day. Seems like many of these gals are curious and set up and account and talk with some guys and get scared off after just 1 day. So I pay attention to the date they activated their account (which is listed on SB). I really prefer the ones I talked to in the past then they went silent then came back. They know the score and came back because they have some sort of short term financial need.

Most of them do not want you coming to their place, but will come to your place or a hotel. This is the price you pay to not be the 9th guy in line for the day. Find an inexpensive, independent Family (Indian or Paki) run Hotel, and ask the Owner if they'll give you early check-in/check out at a discount if you don't use any towels, and promise to make the bed before you leave. A lot of times they'll jump at this.
