I want to say thanks to all you guys that have given me info on the clubs and AMPs in Atl. I have had great success at Vivide on my many visits. Only difference is today my visit will be around 6 pm instead of 3. When does days shift end? Around what time do Vivide and Wax become gangster?
I'd say you're good up until 10 pm for both places.

Not the same
I've never had a person who worked at the club tell me I couldn't smoke a cigarette or a cigar. I'm sure you're aware that the patrons and dancers who smoke 420 in the club are smoking their blunts out of a cigar aren't you? They ain't using rolling papers. You're going to smell of smoke when you leave.
I agree you will still smell of whatever is in the club plus various perfumes of dancers hopping on / off, but the smoke smell isn't the same. Cigarette smoke just sticks and can be overpowering. Weed smells will fade and for most it's non-distracting. I don't smoke either product, but I can handle being around weed.

I'm slow
I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, so forgive me. But what is 'DO'? And, I did try to Google it LOL.
Wax is the ATL DO mecca, sir. Really anywhere you'd like is cool for wax.

I'd say you're good up until 10 pm for both places.
All the Latinas get off at Vivide between 7-9 pm. After that I wouldn't say it's gangster but it's all AA dancers. It's pretty chilled out but none of the Latinas are there. Wax always seems a little dodgy and it's not the nicest club, but I've never had any problems there as a white dude. It's in the Fulton Industrial corridor so don't stop along the way. Once you get there they always have a security guy in the parking lot. Just note that parking is 30 on weekends after I think 5 or 6; 20 on week nights after the same time.

Oasis
Just heard from a girl who worked there, it is now closed.

Remodeling
They are closed temporarily for remodeling. Should be back open in a few weeks.

Only difference is today my visit will be around 6 pm instead of 3. When does days shift end? Around what time do Vivide and Wax become gangster?
I believe one of their IG pages officially says from 1 ish to 830. Within day shift I see three different rounds of girls cycle in and out. 6 pm shouldn't be too different from 3 pm, especially early in the week when it's slower. I think 5-6 pm is peak amount of day shift girls, some of my favorites rolling in at 530. I now bounce by 8 pm, at least to avoid paying valet and VIP "rooms" get taken down plus hygienic reasons I wouldn't want to touch those leather couches after 7 hours and 10+ uses a day. Vivide has some hood elements early in day but usually everyone's just chilling out. As evening goes on sure you get peoples drinks catching up to them and then typical ATL club activity at night. If the Latinas scurry out before despite the money, then I trust their judgment.

Oasis is closed
Good, that's the closest club to me.
Talking to this guy now. Says Oasis is closed permanently unless they try other stuff legally. They shut them down.

Oasis
Very strange. I personally called there yesterday and the girl who answered the phone specifically assured me that they were only closed temporarily while they remodel. Maybe she was blowing smoke, but I don't see why she would say they would be open in a few weeks if they were permanently closed. But, people definitely lie. I'm stumped.

Point Taken
Thanks for providing that info. Was not aware that this is a common practice. Wish it made more sense to me. Maybe they were hoping to be bought out and the deal fell through. Who knows.

The article I read called it a mediocre strip club but I thought it was nice inside and from what it appeared they seemed to be running as a standard strip club. It just didn't appear to be a place for shenanigans. They probably are trying some last ditch legal effort if the employee you talked to is putting up that front. Also there's nothing in the news yet. Once something breaks it will be in the news as they have been covering that saga closely. IMO that area of Dekalb isn't that nice but I guess they are trying to further gentrify it.
