In a massage place expect somewhere around 300 Baht for the house, about $10, and 800 to 1500 Baht for your provider, YMMV. If you want a short time girl or LB for a hotel visit, and you're meeting her at a bar. Bar fines now seem to be 800-1000 baht to take her from the bar. Used to be 300-500, and her fee is now more likely 1500-2500 Baht. Inflation has hit Thailand too. And this from Dec. 2022. Add WeChat app to your phone and you can use it to locate freelancers and other working girls. ThaiFriendly is your best resource. Join that for a month to see girls available, and arrange and arrange meetings. Do get a foot massage every day if you find a real foot massage place. Still maybe 200-300 baht, and a nice way to relax. Rent a motorbike, but always wear a helmet and get an international drivers license before you leave. That way the police are much less likely to hassle you, and it's a great way to get to some more remote beaches. Just remember to drive on the Left. Stay safe.

When going to a new spa, when do you discuss services & price? I've always waited until after the flip but this puts me at a distinct disadvantage since I've already paid the house and now I'm laying there with a boner and not wanting to walk out unsatisfied. Somebody mentioned an experience where two girls offered BBBJ for $1 plus house fee, which got me thinking. I'd really prefer to put my request out front before I pay the house fee and go into the room. Which would give me a much greater negotiating advantage. Have others taken this approach? What was your experience?

A quick report. I stopped by 9 Spa and was greeted by a wide girl with nice D-cup breasts. Not my type, but she told me there are 4 other girls, but all busy right now. I asked her name since I remember someone on her was asking about large breasted providers. I prefer small size but she would definitely appeal to someone who likes large breasts. I asked the name but couldn't really understand the response. Hayley or Hadie or Hettie. Should be close enough to find her.

I stopped back into 9 Spa about an hour after the first visit, lured by the promise that there were 4 more girls working. Big boobs girl was busy but two other girls were available and came out together to great me, both tall and slim but neither really appealed to me. I thought the thing that distinguished 9 Spa and justified their higher house fee was that their girls were relatively younger and more attractive. Sadly, that was not my experience today.

I can tell ya, learn some simple Thai phrases because if ya don't the ladies here will take advantage of you as a dumb tourist. And also be prepared to pay more for most things as a "Western" tourist. Lots of spots here have 2 prices. One for tourists and one for Thai nationals.

This was a couple of months ago. I really enjoyed the visit but haven't had the time for a full spa visit. There were no AA providers.

I read RM for info but with a lot of skepticism. Seems a lot of Asian "authors" especially at Z Massage. Does anyone have first hand experience? I was there about 4 years ago and it was sub-par. I like to refresh my opinions as some places have gone from lackluster to super and Vice versa. Like finding a 4 leaf clover where you looked once before. That was case with RoseSpa on Campbell; Joy and A -Spa.

She gives a solid massage (8/10 on AMP standards) and is also good with the extras without breaking the bank. She also gives you your full time (if you paid for an hour, she'll massage for the whole time). She doesn't play games like spending 10 minutes to "get a towel" or ushering you out-the-door after 35 minutes (when you paid for an hour). I seriously can't stand when an AMP does that (looking at you Golden Spa).

Considering how bad the service is recently at other AMPs, it's nice to have a place that is consistently solid. Don't expect hot, tight 20 or 30-something girl, but the service is good.

When it's not Nico working (and I don't know if she's gone for May), she usually gets someone who is pretty good. I haven't been in a month or two, so don't know whose working currently. But I consider Joy to be one of the few consistently good places in town, especially if you just want a good massage and a handy.

It was really good at the end of 2022. Recently changed ownership and I haven't been back since my 1st visit at the "new" z massage.

I have not really been partaking much. My Covid year was last year. Health and money were definitely hit. Finally in a place where I am healthy in both categories.

Seen some providers and decided to go back to Sun. It has been quite awhile. Every time I seem to go by there, there is too many cars to make me comfortable.

Today there were no cars. At least on the east. So I went in and got escorted to room where I had to wait for 15 min. During that time I could hear the rooms on both sides. Very familiar sounds and could even hear one finish with the girl saying "very big" at the end. Funny.

So a different girl comes in and she was sexier then the first. This was Kayla. Got right to it. Was very happy and left very happy. Couple of little things that are worth mentioning, but honestly I was happy so really nothing to complain about.

First I was with Kayla maybe an entire 15 min. I had to ask to have massage and she did it very short. They were obviously busy. Used to like laying there getting the 2nd half of massage. Really used to enjoy that. Nothing like a girl really taking care of you and then taking care of you more.

Second she did a poor job cleaning up. I had oil all in my hair neck and shoulders.

Must remind you I was happy and would really like to participate again soon. Just miss the longer massages I used to get after.
