I think its a matter of approach. If you have the right approach, you won't have to ask for anything.
There are plenty of decent AMPs in the area. You can get whatever you are looking for.

Not every MP in Chicago area is "a sure thing", that's why we have this wonderful forum and that's why, sometimes, you have to TOFTT and YMMV. Most places are cautious and have certain policies, other places are more open and honest about what they do. Find one of these places, if that's what you're into. They exist. You just have to RTFF.
