I miss the good old days when we all just golfed on Saturday.

I think everyone is forgetting about the over use of over the counter drugs and also the over use of antibiotics. This has basically lowered the over all herd immunity of the US and the world. If you do come done with covid 19 and recover your blood now has the anti bodies to resist covid 19 in the future. People who are very sick from covid 19 are being given plasma with the anti bodies and recovering very quick. The blood banks are looking for people who have recovered so their plasma can be given others. I wonder how much blood from over seas is pouring into the US for this purpose. I also wonder if I catch and recover from covid 19 how much my O Neg blood is worth.

The crazy started to filter in when the Fairness Doctrine of the FCC was essentially cast into the fire, and opinion without the need for backing proof started to get aired as "news". The only difference was a teeny tiny blurb that said that the material presented was the opinion of the presenter. Otherwise, it looked like a news program in every way that mattered.

It was the start of the dumbing down of America. Inch by inch, the truth was nudged, and vitriol crept into the "news" landscape. From Walter Cronkite to Rush Limbaugh in only one generation. Instead of being told what was going on for people to make up their minds, they were being told how they should feel about events.

The information landscape underwent a paradigm shift; from the dissemination of information, to the promotion of dogma, the very thing from which an informed populace was supposed to be protected.

The old Republican Party, my party of fiscal responsibility, was molded into a cult of personality.

In the current situation, someone like Molly is "bored as fuck. " I am going to have to do something about that once things calm down some.
