I should do some splainin for you, no problem. I didn't mean to bust babylons chops too much -- it was highly descriptive and yes I did enjoy the read. I guess my suspicion radar went off as too much of a salesperson type of post though.

Its just my opinion, we are all allowed to have different opinions, so it's all good. You encourage babylon to post more and that's great. I do too, I'm hoping he's legit, thats all.

Btw, my opinions aren't always right.. while I initially did support wire's posts, someone else caught that he seemed to be a black man in some posts, and a white man in other posts.. So I'm not always right lol.

The whole point of this forum is based in trust. I am sure that being ex-miltary, "semper fi" and all that stuff must ring a bell. The point is simply that, as you know, in the military, trust is established through relationships over a period of time.
Same is true with Jackson's USG forum. We get to know each other over a period of time (and numbers of posts).
It is obviously very important to the USG members to know who they are corresponding with ... we certainly don't want LE here, so we kind of wait to see who is trustworthy.
You can understand that, so I'm asking you to back off the belligerence and aggression and accept this forum society for what it is.

Thanks for the positive thoughts...coming from different directions to be sure, but positive, constructive and helpful---at least for me! It's good to hear.

There seem to be one or two LA local posters (who shall remain nameless), Senior Members if you please, who keep the board running with their frequent "reports" ("I saw a BSW and a LSW...") and comments...and also have a major LE fixation! He, I mean "they", never miss an opportunity to rant about how unfair it is that "Pig Bratton" targets us mongers and spends tax payer $$ on police stings when real crime is rampant on the streets of LA. Yeah, we get it. And agree!

However, another part of this mania, and it's happened before...is a new guy posts something, anything, and suddenly these "Senior Member" guys start to smell bacon! If he says ANYTHING back to defend himself, he gets flamed and broiled here like it's some kind of Junior High School, 7th Grade insult fest. Paranoia anyone?

Why do I think this? And why does it piss me off. Because it happened to me on one of the LA boards, initiated by the same person. I posted an ACTUAL SW EXPERIENCE and got called out as LE. What a waste of time!
