Notice the part that says it is not always a unique identifier. For instance, I have a [b]dynamic[/b] address at my house as opposed to a [b]static[/b] address. Which means my address changes every time i turn my router on and off or every time I turn my computer on and off. If it was static it would remain the same.

That would be a safe bet.

One idea I think will work. Get a prepaid phone with the same company as your usual cell. Take out the Sim card and toss the phone. When you want to use the prepaid, swap the sim with your usual cell.

It's a little bit of a pain, but a sim card is easy to hide.

I have a couple of suggestions I would like to share. First off if you really want an extra phone that you kind of stash in the car or wherever, you can always lock it with a code so nothing could be extracted from it. Maybe even tell your SO that your buddy left his phone behind, kind of time it when she knows you were with some of the boys. Just make sure that it's one of the guys that she only knows of, not one she actually knows, that would open up a whole new can of worms. Make sure that although the phones are different in looks that the same charger will work for it, so you dont have to explain the charger too. Or you could even show her the phone and tell you found it last night at the bowling alley or somewhere, but it's locked so you cant find the owner, but the cool thing is maybe I will keep it because the battery looks like it will fit in my phone, blah,blah,blah. In my humble opinion, it just seems like a whole lot to go through. I'm glad I dont have to worry about that anymore, I do remember those days.
