The key is picking a good spot and that takes cruising the streets and making observations. Learn to find spots which are removed from residential areas but still not so desolate that you're sticking out like a sore thumb. Or, buck up and take it to the Patio or similar no-tell where you can bury the salami with relative anonymity. Carrying an unauthorized firearm is a felony, as opposed to the mere misdemeanor you were hoping to engage in. Try explaining that to wifey.
The advice of carrying heat is to put it mildly throwing fuel on a fire. Nothing good can come of it. If you ever make the mistake of actually firing it, you'd better kill the person and hope there are no witnesses, or you could be looking at a serious stretch in a state pen. Much better to only think with the little head when you pick up a SW and use the big head to figure out where to take her. Well, I guess that's both ends of the controversy. On one side, you have someone who's "never been caught" advocating carrying a gun and telling the cop your friend was "cleaning it" (with his face I guess), which of course the police will accept unquestioningly. The success of this approach depends on luck in its entirety, and the potential stakes if that luck runs out are high.
On the other side, you have an overpriced lawyer advising you the gun's best left at home. True, they don't spend much time on this particular situation in law school, but in 20+ years of frequent and successful mongering on the Ave and elsewhere, I've NEVER had occasion to use a gun or any other weapon.
Applied to the situation which started this discussion, I'd suggest that shooting someone who mugged you and punched you in the face does not constitute legitimate self defense, and if caught you'll be prosecuted. If you watch network TV, I'm sure you realize that you no longer need witnesses to be caught. Food for thought if nothing else, but going out for pussy and coming back facing serious jail time sounds like a bad risk/benefit analysis to me.

When in town I have taken several to my hotel in Bensalem. Pretty much depending on traffic a 20-30 min drive from the K. Sometimes they bite sometimes they don't. Seems like the cold weather has definetely kept alot of the girls inside. With not too much play time last night I made a few passes and after one miss around Somerset with a girl who didn't look familiar but very cute and then one more pass which turned up nothing either I just decided to call Steph. Nice girl but have just seen her too many times and really doesn't do much for me anymore.

I was on Front Street a few nights ago, and surprisingly saw a few SWs braving the cold weather. Since LE was apparently having a parade, with one LE cruiser after another, I decided it was best to skip town.
On my way home, I saw one on Front that I considered exploring, but she was wearing a hat and scarf, with only her eyes and nose exposed. I tried to get a closer look at her as I drove past, but couldn't tell much about her appearance, so I decided to pass. When I stopped half a block from her, at a stop sign, I saw through my rear view mirror that she threw up her arms in disgust about me not offering her a ride.
While I understand that they must stay warm, bundling up to the extent that guys cannot get a good look at them must be bad for business. I'm not sure what the solution is. Do we need to set up SW warming stations along the K?
Camden was crazy with LE that same night, as well, with LE cruisers driving erradically, weaving between lanes.
Well, I'm batting. 500. A week ago I picked up Amy just south of Lehigh. She's a WSW, 25, in a starter jacket, really short hair brown hair, probably about a 7. I should have driven off when I pulled off and saw her sprinting to my car in the rearview mirror. She quoted me at. 4 for a BBJCIM and wouldn't budge and asked for the tip before she even started. I kept driving south and an older WSW asked if I wanted a date at the 7-11, but I passed. I picked up Ashley in the same spot south of Lehigh. WSW, also a 7, but with dark, long, blonde hair. Quoted me. 2 for CBJ right away. She was pretty businesslike and not outwardly friendly, but was pleasant enough after dealing with Amy. As for the Anna joke, I think that was in poor taste. If she was going in to rehap it would have been funny but the poor girl is dead, leaving behind a baby girl. Admittedly and unabashedly in poor taste, but let's not kid ourselves. You, I and many others on this board frequently patronize single moms in a downward spiral of self destruction, drug abuse and self-degradation. Rarely do people recognize their plight or shed tears for them, and in fact we pretty much enable that cycle as part of our hobby.
It's a pity she left an infant baby behind (who now has 3 people claiming potential paternity) but let's not canonize her as a saint. If it weren't for her media exposure she would have been another former stripper coke addict hooker by the time she was in her mid-30s, and you can bet your ass it's only a matter of time til the sex video surfaces.
Only in this celebrity-worshiping country could be elevate her status to such a degree, and if we're going to be honest about it, her ongoing notoriety was largely a product of being such a train wreck. Undoubtedly she suffered given the tragic death of her son, but over the past few years her notoriety was based pretty much entirely on the public's fascination with watching her self-destruct. Anyone in this hobby has seen worse, but nobody eulogizes since it's not on Extra or ET. She was notoriously fond of putting herself in front of the paparazzi and enjoying it, so don't go blaming the media for hounding her - she sought that out to perpetuate her place in the spotlight.
She was beautiful, she was young, and her life was snuffed out too soon. She was, in fact, my age and it's made me think a lot about my own mortality. It's very saddening. But she did it to herself in large part and she's about one of a million women doing the same to themselves as we speak. Their moms just don't get a shot at Larry King. And the fact is that I didn't make that pic up, that was just normal operating procedure for the girl.

Hit the K last night early around 5pm. Didn't have much time to play as I had to be at a friends house for a birthday party at 7, so I was hoping to find something quick.

Sorry, am as guilty of this as anyone. Problem is (as someone previously mentioned) you can not tell what they look like in this cold weather. With the hats and hoods and bulky coats it reminds me of Monty Hall and taking a chance on what is behind curtain #3. Have been disappointed way to often to take another chance. Either it's somone I know or wait for the spring thaw.
