"the new Elmwood" alright!
Yes, Academy is busy as Elmwood used to be, but it also has recently acquired something which hurt Elmwood for us and that is some kind of community action activity. At least, my fav SW there told me that last week there was some sort of meeting to alert the locals to report SW pickup sightings. Maybe this board had something to do with that , I don't know, but that may explain the LE activity noted recently. Just thought you might want to know, but that info won't stop me.

Your link didn't work,
Check out this one, of course who knows who is telling the truth, but it appears there is some controversy regarding her.

La Prov's own Rhody Ripper  is back , and badder than ever
The Ripper , you may recall , is a serial killer of prostitutes that our town's LEOs

hookers getting killed , and they get the same pay·check every Friday whether
they do some actual work or just sit around eating donuts all week
The Ripper usually disposes of the bodies in such a way that the remains are never

THE PROVIDENCE JOURNAL / Bob Thayer Bob Thayer
JOHNSTON — The body found behind the Winsor Hill School yesterday was a 35-year-old white woman with a criminal record who had been released from the Adult Correctional Institutions June 26, the police said last night.
Authorities determined the woman’s identity through her fingerprints, according to Maj. Ralph Bubar. He said she used a variety of names, some of which were Gina Hughes, Campbell Gilmore and Gia Gilmore.
She had no permanent address, but she had stayed with distant relatives in Warwick.
The cause of death will be determined by the state’s medical examiner, Bubar said.
The body was found covered in canvas, and it was quite visible amid the tall reeds of grass and dandelions behind the school.
It was easy to mistake for a piece of junk discarded on the slope between the school’s rear driveway and the baseball field.
Then, yesterday morning, some maintenance workers at the school noticed flies and a distinct odor, according to Police Chief Richard S. Tamburini.
Shortly after, the town’s detective squad was mounting an investigation into who had wrapped a woman’s body in canvas and dumped it behind the elementary school at 100 Theresa St.
By last evening, authorities had determined the dead woman’s identity, but they were still trying to determine exactly how long the remains had been behind the school and how the woman had died, Tamburini said.
Investigators, he said, had not yet identified a suspect or suspects in the case, but he was optimistic about their chances for solving the mystery.
The exact cause of the woman’s death wasn’t apparent at the scene, Tamburini said, during an afternoon interview.
However, he acknowledged that the department was pursuing the case as a homicide.
“We can say with certainty that it didn’t happen here,” he added.
“It appears a person or persons drove back there and placed a body there,” he said. “They dumped the body there.”
The body was discovered at about 7:30 a.m. by Police Sgt. Joseph Razza, the on-duty supervisor for the department’s overnight shift.
After noticing the object near the school, a member of the janitorial staff alerted the police, Tamburini said.
The body was decomposed and the gender and age of the deceased wasn’t immediately clear, he said.
Tamburini said several people were in a position to discover the body prior to yesterday morning.
“No one paid much attention because it just looked like a piece of canvas,” he said.
It’s possible that children passed by it on their way to play on the ball field.
The Winsor Hill School is situated in a densely populated suburban neighborhood off Hartford Avenue near the town’s boundary with Providence.
“It’s very quiet here,” said Theodore A. St. Jean, a 75-year-old who lives across the street from the school. “I’m very surprised about this thing.”
Tamburini continued to emphasize that someone had brought the body to the location behind the school.
“Based on my experience in dealing with these matters it definitely does not appear that it happened anywhere in the vicinity of the school,” he said. “…I just want the neighbors to understand that.”

PROVIDENCE — Patrolman Marcus Huffman, a 13-year veteran of the police force, was indicted yesterday for allegedly raping a teenager while on duty. He was immediately suspended without pay.
Prosecutors say that when the victim’s family made a 9-1-1 call the night of the alleged assault, Huffman was the lead officer who arrived to take the complaint.
But the report Huffman subsequently filed, “failed to mention the allegation in question,” according to Michael Healey, spokesman for the attorney general’s office.
A statewide grand jury handed up an indictment charging that Huffman had sexual intercourse with a woman on March 18 “at a time when he knew or had reason to know that she was mentally incapacitated, mentally disabled, or physically helpless.” Under the law, the alleged offense is formally called first-degree sexual assault punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors allege Huffman encountered the 19-year-old victim on the night of March 18 outside the Platforms Dance Club on Poe Street.
She and some friends went to the club, but the owner would not let the victim in because she appeared to be intoxicated, according to Healey.
Shortly after midnight Huffman allegedly took the young woman to the District Two Police Substation on Gordon Avenue, where he was based. That is where the sexual assault took place, according to Healey.
The victim woke up at the substation at about 3 a.m. and walked to the nearby home of relatives. She told the relatives she had been sexually assaulted, so they made the 9-1-1 call.
Because the home was in Huffman’s patrol district, he responded. Another officer and a trainee also responded, but Huffman was the senior officer, Healey said.
Healey said Huffman subsequently filed a report that was not technically false, but not complete.
“It omitted major details, such as the fact that he was with the victim several hours before.”
Healey said the complaint was investigated by the state police and Providence police.
When Huffman reported for duty on the 3 to 11 p.m. work shift yesterday, he was informed that he was suspended without pay due to the indictment, said police Maj. Paul C. Fitzgerald, commander of the Uniformed Division. He is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 15.
Huffman, 37, of West Warwick, had been on restricted duty while the case was under investigation, monitoring the metal detector at the entrance to the Public Safety Complex.
Huffman has made a number of high-profile arrests in his career, taken part in handing out hot dogs in low-income housing developments and joined a team of Providence police officers who volunteered to serve in New York City after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
But he’s also been the target of other serious complaints.
In 1998, he was found guilty of three misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a fracas at the Registry of Motor Vehicles that began when Sambo Chea, a custodian, tried to stop Huffman from letting his wife into the building just after it closed.
As they struggled, three other Registry employees jumped in to subdue Huffman. One was administrator Thomas M. Harrington, a retired Cranston police chief. Another was Charles F. “Ted” Dolan, a retired Pawtucket police captain.
Huffman, who was off duty and out of uniform, testified he was trying to prevent his gun from accidentally discharging. The Registry officials said he didn’t identify himself as a policeman, so they took his gun away.
At the end of the trial, District Court Judge John J. Cappelli said he found the prosecution witnesses, particularly Chea, more creditable than Huffman. He found Huffman guilty “not just beyond a reasonable doubt, but beyond all doubt.”
Cappelli gave Huffman a one-year suspended sentence.
Earlier in the same year, Huffman was suspended without pay for two days for failing to show up at a hearing on a complaint that he beat a 14-year-old boy with a billy club.
In 1995, Huffman was suspended without pay following two complaints. He was indicted on charges of having sexual relations with a 10-year-old girl when he was 16 and 17. A Superior Court judge threw out those charges because she found no evidence of coercion, and Huffman attended church, had a good family life and had not been in trouble with the police.
On that same day, Huffman was summoned to another Superior Court to face charges that he had demanded a sex act from a prostitute. That case also was dismissed.
So , howz about it , LaProv's Swinest , who we all know reads this Board ??
Are youz guyz finally gonna get ON this Case .... or do I have to do ALL your work
for you
Gansett, GL bud, those ribs are gonna hurt a while.
Every move you make will remind you of those ribs.
Hope your buddy and the woman who rammed the red have insurance. Hope the cops wrote it up as she ran the red and their were witnesses.
All pain will be repaid at end, but you will be laid up for a while, ribs are very painful, I know first hand, a sneeze, a cough, a turn, almost anything, we take them for granted but once hurt, we see how much they are involved in our daily life.
Godspeed bud, heal well. And ca$h our nice!
for a while as I heal. Was in a buddies car when a woman ran a red and nailed us. Air bag made me look like I went a few rounds with Ali, got "suspected" cracked ribs. Suspected hell, I'm taped up like a mummy and it's gonna hurt when they pulled this stuff off. Can't breathe and sneezing is an adventure believe me. Got something wrong with my wrist too, I know, i ought to quit whacking off so much :0, seeing a doc about that at 2 today.
So, in the meantime, keep the girls happy, I'll be back!!!
Pretty good, by comparison
I'll try to just report on particular experiences in the SW section and comment on the scene in here. I've only been out there about three years and, it's true, there has been a decline all over in quantity. I think that's due to the obvious politics: a really IM-perfect storm of big developer money meeting new top-cop bravado (Chief Sissyman) meeting new anti-hetersexual (note the "hetero") promiscuity campaigning by the Fagillini forces meeting the Mob-driven anti-SW push (they benefit because fewer SW's means more business for their escort services and strip clubs and bookstores) meeting with a few other less powerful forces. Still, I almost always find acceptable SWs when I go hunting, and the deed gets done, usually a car date, usually a bbbj with a decent-looking WSW who may or may not be high, may have most or all teeth, and looks fairly healthy and behaves decently. When I want class or GFE, I use digits. So what if the hunt is occasionally non-productive? I don't whine about it any more. When I do have a car date with a new SW who I like I ask for digits and sometimes I get them, enough so that if the streets are bare, and I still have the call of the wild, I dial up and eventually go home happy.
And let us not forget about what a "bad" SW scene can really be. If you never saw the movie "Monster" starring Academy Award-winning Charlize Theron you might want to see it now. It's about the life of Aileen Wuornos who was a SW in Daytona Beach and who was convicted and executed for serially killing johns because they wanted sex. She had had a hard life, it seems, was a bit wounded. Be grateful.
Give it a rest, no one's buying it

Oh he exists, but only as an ficticious urban legend in your own little mind.
