My understanding regarding "entrapment" isn't as described in a couple of the examples below, but the last paragraph of the post sums it up. It's not entrapment if an officer is undercover and catches you committing crimes. It's entrapment if an officer forces you to commit a crime you wouldn't have committed under normal circumstances. E. G, An officer, as part of an undercover operation, gives someone a bag of pot and tells him that unless he sells that bag of pot to the customer waiting, he'll arrest him for jaywalking, and then arrests said person for dealing.

In this business, if an officer inspected an unlicensed massage provider and threatened to report her for being unlicensed unless she provided him a HE, and then arrested her for providing that HE, that would be entrapment.

Entrapment is very difficult to prove without witnesses.

I used to be avid street racer in my younger days and people would scream "entrapment" if an undercover officer lined up with them at a light, revved engines and then pulled them over when they launched off the light. It never stood up in court because the officer didn't coerce the other person into doing something they wouldn't normally do, they only provided the opportunity for them to commit a crime they were predisposed to committing anyway.

I hope we all pause today and say many prayers for the families and friends affected by the shooting. We all have fun here. Some of us complain about our 'appointments' and how things didn't turn out well. "The girl didn't do this," "She was late or a no-show, etc." This sickening event certainly puts things in perspective. I know it did for me. Peace!

Hoping everyone has a safe, fun & prosperous mongering New Year!

Wasn't sure where to put this-but-heading to San Juan PR in a couple weeks for 3 days. Planning on some activity while there. Quick check of CL for therapeutic massages shows me I won't be disappointed-sadly most if the ads are in spanish-so I will need do some translating. Looking for some advice-areas to stay away from-too dangerous, etc. Any know providers that are worth the trip? Any help would be appreciated.

For kicks I took a look at the local listings it all appears to be a mix mash of crap someone dragged off random internet pages. Nyx was the only one I quickly recognized on there and the info was obviously pulled from some of her online escort postings. Most of the pictures are obvious fakes probably from fake ads, but I didn't really have the time to play internet sleuth for long.

What a joke I read some of their disclaimers if someone is dumb enough to pay them anything they are crazy and besides most of the girls post phony pics and use prepaid cell phones so good luck getting any identifiable info from that.

Ok-Funny story that I can only share with my fellow mongers. Had the basement refinished recently and the SO noticed that we could be down cellar and not hear the upstairs doorbell that well. Well, she goes out and buys an electronic door chime that is activated by remote when our main door bell goes off. Well, it is now installed and when we tested it, it has the same chime that every single AMP I have ever been to has. Every time I hear it now, I pull out 60. 00 and get ready for my table shower.

This is going to drive me crazy as every time I hear it, It will put me in the mood for an AMP visit.

I always google the tel # of providers before I see them or even call them to see what pops up. I google their number or email address in the hope of finding a review or to see their prior ads. I might recognize a photo with positive or negative association.

Sometimes its their real names and addresses. I then google their names. Sometimes arrests or facebook accounts show up. I am always surprised when a lady is not more careful with their private info. I value a person who is more careful than that.

I would recommend that everyone google the provider's tel number prior to seeing them. The more info you have on a provider, the better and safer it is.

Someone keeps putting false info on me under these darn mr number and the other sites like that. I have to keep googling and checking to have that stuff deleted and it's such a pain. I wish they'd stop. Last one is that they say I was arrested in NH and that they saw me in the parking lot in handcuffs. That's so derrogatory, wouldn't mind if it were true, but it never happened. Who's doing this I have no idea. I'm practically going to have to reinvent myself and not show my face and take a new number, but then I'd lose my regulars. What should I do? I got a phone call from a lady who's from CT yesterday and she has the same thing going on. They flag her ads and someone reported her to child protective services for being an escort and she says she doesn't do this around her child. They took her child away from her, so she was asking what NH is like, and that she may move there. That is so horrible. I had no idea when I got into this that things could be difficult. It's really so unpleasant to see stuff written about you with your pic up, then I have to also worry about being hurt, le, I have been stalked a few times, I had someone who said they were going to call my job, but thankfully I didn't know what they were talking about, because I don't tell anyone where I work. So that's why I asked. I'm trying to be chilll about it and not let it upset me, but just worried about it the same.

I think not as a rule but it does happen.

To go a bit on a tangent from this however I was often surprised to discover that behind professional demeanor hides someone who is open to any type of relationship.

Many of them are just plain lonely. In fact some even become providers not as much out of financial necessity as out of shear loneliness realizing that men often pay not as much for her company as for her 'simply leaving after it's done' and (sometimes false) assurance of the drama-free session with no 'morning after'. There are some providers (I know at least one) who are looking for saviors, then there are others that want to move you to FWB or BF, which often are the other terms for 'sugar daddy'.

Then, there are others who you just hit it off with and before you know you're either friends with them or their BF, if that's what you're after and she is open to it.

However be aware of several things. First, this often ends bad because either you or her or both of you end up being crazy drama queens and at the end just plainly drive each other nuts with mutual accusation of 'drama'. If you get jealous in relation to her 'work' and start setting conditions on what she is and she is not to do in relation to that, you really are setting yourself up for huge disappointment.

And the third, and that especially concerns the more psychologically stable providers that you just happen to hit it off with, once they begin to open up about their real lives (their real names, their real families, where do they actually live, work, go to school, etc) , don't try to play a part of protective papa by telling them the staff like: "Oh you shouldn't tell this type of staff to anybody! I mean I'm ok but you got to be careful, there is a jungle out there!" Assume that they know about the 'jungle out there' more then you do. For many of more psychologically stable providers, too much protectiveness on your part would raise the red flags with names like: "obsessive-compulsive!" or "stalker!" attached to them. If you began process of 'getting closer to the provider' this type of 'concern' on your part also chances are will confuse them (they told you something personal and you appear as though you're pushing back) and when something confuses them, especially in initial stages, they would usually quickly revert to being 'professional'.

This last is coming from personal experience. Happened to me at least twice.

About a year ago by doing exactly that I lost an opportunity to get close to a provider with whom I really hoped to move relationship from provider / client to first, friends and then who knows. Not only that but I told her that based on the info she provided me with I googled her and now know that she was a HS honor student, etc, etc. I'm sure that it is as a result of that that now, unfortunately, my relationship with her remained purely professional.

Be as it may, if you pay for 1/2 hour and end up staying 2-4 hours instead, chances are she'd be open to maybe trying something other then purely provider / client relationship with you. Reasons for it however are yours to figure out.

Never a time I don't. Any info I can get on other reviews lack of info, pics anything helps me be more comfortable especially if I'm trying to see someone new.

Bear in mind, though, that the sole purpose of that searching is to ensure a provider is legit, as in not LE. So if I find stuff about a provider being arrested, it would not be a negative, arrests happen in this business. I disregard wacky exaggerating negative stuff, too, which is usually posted by someone who is pissed at a provider for personal reasons and is trying to retaliate. People post all kinds of crap like "so and so has herpes and gave it to me." That's extremely unlikely to be true, especially if posted on Backpage or something.

The main thing that would turn me off to a provider would be legit sounding negative reviews, especially here on USAG because the info on here is usually good. The oThER site is also a good source that I find by phone google and if a provider has mostly negative reviews that's an issue.

I would not worry too much about your number being googled, especially if you have an anonymous phone.
