In Detroit news, government employees capture a drive by shooting and then ignore same. This is in accordance with the holdings of Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 US 748 (2005) in which the Supreme Court invalidated mandatory arrest laws and held the government has no duty to protect anyone.

At great risk to my personal integrity I must agree with the good Doctor in this particular case. Most of these men were not looking for children but adults to pay for sex. Some time during the transaction LE asked them to purchase cigarettes or alcohol claiming they were too young to buy them. Upon arrival they are taken into custody as pedophiles. If they get a hotel room or suggest any other location to the one proposed by LE that is considered luring. I have had to destroy my burner phone a couple of times after unknowingly contacting a police sting. Good luck.

I missed this story two weeks ago until it was on the front of the Arizona Republic today. DPS issued a 700+ pages report about all of the fuck ups in this sting prompted by the Department of Health looking for COVID-19 violations. The Health Department asked the Liquor Department to spy on strip clubs. The usual budget is $40 to go in and scope the place. Instead they allocated over $1,000 and went to VIP rooms and started groping dancers.
Texas new law in effect September 1 which makes it a felony in Texas to:

Was watching season two of show, "Undercover Billionaire". Basically it is a capitalism sting whereby a billionaire goes undercover to conduct a capitalism sting to wrangle economic assistance and business community to start a new organization valued at one million dollars. They are only allowed $100 to start with and given an old SUV. Although the SUV's are much nicer than most poor people's cars.
Of course this capitalism sting could never occur in Phoenix since while sleeping in their trucks while homeless, they would have gotten a parking ticket or vehicle towed by a predatory towing lot, and shot at by gang members and their $100 taken by drug addicts while in a homeless area.
