Fellow mongers,

Ive been doing some intesive research about Thailand, and my upcoming trip. (i.e, [url]www.pattaya-addicts.com[/url].) If any of ya from personal experience (like AT2) have been there, Im open to all suggestions as far as where I wanna book my hotel. (First time there.) Cuz really really, if its that damn good, Im going back sooner than you think! (Then Ill stay in another part of the country.)

Im leaning towards Bangkok, I figure, thats the capital, main city--gotta be like our Waiks, ah. Me play the dumbass american tourist role. Cept, me brown skinned local asian brotha! hehehe.

I can't compare because I've never been to Thailand... yet! But, I can say that P. Burgos Street in Manila rocked my world. The Filipinas there love sex and are truly LBFMs (little brown fucking machines)! And although I haven't been to Angeles City a couple of hours north by taxi, I hear it is the bomb too! It is much more in your face about the sex industry than Manila is. NO COMPLAINTS.

However, I doubt if there is any reason to switch from Thailand. I would do both brah! Get Thailand done now, and Manila later!

A lot of it is just taste. Here's my take (Bangkok, Pattaya, Manila and Angeles City):

Cost: Angeles City about $25-$30 for all nighter, Pattaya about $30 to $40 short-time (A few hours) and $60-$75 all night. Manila about the same as Pattaya and Bangkok about $60 short-time and $90 all nighter. Bangkok is definitely the most expensive, but you can get some pretty high quality girls. AC is the cheapest, but it's a small town and don't expect to take two different girls from the same bar on different nights, without some drama queen antics. Flattering, but a pain in the ass! LOL!

GFE: Angeles City (AC) is the most GFE. They tend to fall for you, but like I said, along with that comes a lot of drama. Pattaya is in between. Manila similar to Pattaya and BKK the most business like. In fact Nana Plaza is getting more and more mercenary every year. Pick and choose carefully in BKK.

PSE: Bangkok has the most well trained girls and/or established routines. This means better massages, great service in the Soapies, excellent threesome action at Eden's, etc. Manila is good, Pattaya is good and AC is in the sticks. Don't expect anything remotely resembling training in AC. There are very little if any massage joints in AC.

Looks: Bangkok comes up number one for me, but this category is probably the most subjective. Manila and Pattaya are good and AC comes in last. On the high end, your best chance at finding model type looks is in BKK and Manila 2nd.

Bodies: The Thai girls have a more sleek look, tighter bodies and in the PI, they have a little more baby fat and in some cases a lot more. The PI does have it's share of nice bodies, though, but mostly in Manila.

Hotels: Bangkok comes in 1st, Manila and Pattaya and last is AC. Of course BKK is the most expensive if you go the four star / five star hotel route. But the hotels are awesome. You get what you pay for. Surprisingly, the AC hotels are just as expensive as the BKK hotels (About $60 a night for a mid range hotel and $30 a night for a low end hotel).

Venues: BKK, Pattaya, Manila and AC last. BKK has Soapies, Go-Go's like Nana and Soi Cowboy, Oil Massages, Foot Massages, BJ bars, Night Clubs with freelancers, Pool Bars with freelancers, Street Walkers, Coffee Shops with freelancers, theme massage places like Akane and Sazanka, etc. No other place on the planet has so many options. The Soapies are the size of most of the large hotels in Waikiki. They have a lobby area, restaurant and a Fish Bowl with about 30-100 girls. They actually have over 300 girls working, but most are busy in the rooms upstairs. Manila has some similarities to BKK, but just can't match the number of options and girls. Pattaya is similar. AC is just Go-Go bars, bars, BJ bars and small massage joints.

Language: You can have much better conversations with the gals in the PI. English is a real 2nd language there. Conversations in BKK are very limited, unless you hit the high end places, where you have some freelance office workers and college girls earning money on the side.

Food: I think BKK has the best restaurants, with Pattaya 2nd, Manila 3rd and AC last. AC has improved over the last few years as more money is pumped into the town, due to the increase in visitors from Japan and Korea. They actually have Sushi places now, but limit your expectations! LOL! Bangkok has every food type you can think of .. Thai, American, Japanese, Italian, French, etc.

Downtime: Bangkok has better restaurants, shopping and options. Manila and Pattaya are a matter of taste. Pattaya is a beach town and Manila a big city. I prefer Pattaya over Manila, but that's more taste than anything concrete. AC is a one trick pony. AC is all about drinking and getting laid. It's like taking Keeaumoku and putting one bar after another on both sides (I know I know Keeaumoku is already kinda like that, but imagine one bar after another with nothing else but a few hotels and restaurants in between. There's some shopping malls, but very little else to do. Not necessarily a bad thing, but keep that in mind.

Summary: I prefer Bangkok, so keep all of my comments with that perspective in mind. Bangkok is pure city, with lot's of options. The Fish Bowl massage parlors are a sight to see. The traffic sucks and limits movement at times, but the Sky Train and Subway are a blessing and they get you to all the hot spots without much need for a cab. The number of girls is staggering and it will skew your thinking. It seems there are 10 to 20 girls to every guy. Bangkok can be very hot and humid. The PI is hot and humid too, but not as bad as BKK can be during the summer months.

Manila is similar to BKK in some ways, but on a smaller scale with fewer options and not as many girls. P. Burgos street is a lot of fun and there are other venues like the LA cafe. It's worth a visit if you have never been there.

Pattaya is a beach town and more laid back. They have a lot of girls, but many of the lookers end up in BKK. It has it's fans and it's cheaper than BKK.

AC is a lot of fun, since it's like a big private party. It takes several hours by Taxi down some real shit hole roads, but when you get there the party goes on from the afternoon to the wee hours. Many of the girls are GFE. The lookers tend to be picky and will pick and choose who they go with. There's just not much else to do in the mornings and when you just want to chill. It's in the middle of nowhere and no beaches or options in site. You wake up late and start drinking and partying from the afternoon and start all over again the next day. The bars are the be all end all in AC. The girls are hit and miss.

The girls in the PI do tend to be more in love with Caucasian men, the Hollywood image and of course the prior Military presence. More and more Japanese and Korean customers are going to the PI, so some of that is changing. Most of these girls are young, so any backlash against Japanese is purely part of the older generations thinking and does not seem to affect the girls working the Manila and AC bars and massage joints.

I would suggest at least one visit to the PI. Make the 2 hour plus drive out to AC to see what it's like and then you can compare the four places. It's all personal taste and all four have enough girls/action to rock your world. I have been to BKK 20+ times, Manila and AC about 10 times and Pattaya about 5 times. I guess that's my bottom line rating. LOL!

I'll second your take on Manila on two points... English really is a second language. I can honestly say that from the north to south Philippines, I have not met even one person who could not converse in English. And second, they LOVE white men. I went to Bottom's Bar at 8pm one night. I was the ONLY customer in there. I had ten girls flock to me and literally attack me (feeling me up, kissing me, etc.) I went and sat with about 8 of them and bought a few rounds of drinks (surprisingly cheap). When it was time to go to the room with two of them, the rest left, but they ALL made sure to either rub my dick, run their fingers through my chest hair, and/or kiss me (knowing there was no tip in it). It's the white US man attraction.

I think I will definitely continue west on my next trip to the PI and see what BKK is all about!

Friend had a good point; told me, "if everything is going to be pretty much dirt cheap there, why not live it up in a 5 star hotel man? You figure, you'd be spending what, maybe 5 bucks (USD) in food a day, for 3 square meals? Bottled water is what, 20 baht?"

The better hotels probably got clean tap water too. BKK being the major city and all. My other friend said she'd hook me up from the airport to my hotel via limousine! whoa!! Also told me its a 2 hr drive from BKK to Pattaya if I wanted to visit that city. Heh. I forgot to tell her that I arrive in BKK at one o clock in the morning!

I heard China Air has a NEW air bus thats supposed to be top notch..Ive always had trouble sleeping on planes--but now ill be on one for over 24 hours, with 1 stop over in Taipei, Taiwan..I better bring some kind of reading material, LOL. Hope they got ice cold Heineken on tap! I wonder if BKK even has Heineken, and if its cheap like Vegas? That would RAWK!!!

You can control the action with a small remote control. The movies are new, but the games are kind of junk. And you will be happy to hear that all the alcohol (beer) is free, except the premium liquors. Don't think they have Heinys though.

Hinode, I've greatly enjoyed both the Philippines and Thailand, and if I couldn't visit the Philippines in the future, I would be happy visiting Thailand. However, for a combination of three reasons, I've stopped traveling to Thailand (at least for now) in favor of the Philippines. First, in my personal experience a higher percentage of Filipinas provide an outstanding complete GFE (both in and out of bed), which I appreciate even more as I become older. Second, a much higher percentage of Filipinas can effectively communicate with me in English, even many who are young, fresh and have little experience with foreigners. Third, I dislike having to catch connecting flights and sitting around airports. There are no non-stop flights between Hawaii and Thailand, but Philippine Airlines has non-stop flights from Honolulu to Manila and from Manila to Honolulu.

Of course, these are merely my personal preferences. I would recommend that you take your trip to Thailand, and then at some point in the future take a trip to the Philippines. Depending upon your own experiences, you may decide that you prefer Thailand, or that you prefer the Philippines, or that you will continue to visit both countries.

I've never been to the PI but have been to BKK a few times. From reading about PI it seems more like a hostess bar scene. BKK has it all, hostess bars from upscale to very downscale, with MPs the size of large hotels. Speaking from experience, with a little research, it's easy to access all the places in BKK speaking no Thai at all. Very easy to get around by train/subway.

For hotels, if you want to stay at a really nice hotel, try Priceline and bid for a 5 star by Sukhumvit, you might be able to get it for around a hundred bucks. The thing about staying in a really nice hotel is that real tourists stay there so you have to go through the 'walk of shame', going through the lobby with your obviously working girl over and over through the course of your stay, and at the nicer places she'll have to leave her ID or register in the lobby. I've stayed at the JW Marriott, Majestic Suites, and some other place. Majestic Suites is clean and right around the corner from Nana Plaza and close to the Skytrain. Cheap and highly recommended. For more BKK info, bangkoktonight.c*m is a great site.

The places in Nana have Heineken, but I think it's over $5.

Do yourself a favor when you get to BKK. Buy the Bangkok Groovy map, since it's your first time. It's a good map, with easy visuals and you get a good feel for the layout of the city. It also shows the BTS Sky Train routes and the MRT Subway route, with all the stops noted. Can't beat it. You can find it at the airport bookshops or any convenience store. There will probably be a 7-11 near your hotel and the map will set you back about five bucks.

All this BKK and PI talk, has me looking at the calendar. I think I gotta make another stop sometime before the year ends!

You have to be really careful in Vegas. Lots of opportunities for you to get ripped off in every possible venue, escorts, MPs, strip clubs. All of the MPs that advertise as MPs around Sahara are pretty much HJ only places, if that by average to below average Chinese girls.
