I will be in AC this weekend. I see the action has picked up slightly. However, according to the postings, LE has picked up as well. Where is a safe place to pick up low cost providers?

As for where to look, it's anywhere along Pacific from the motels just past the Hilton all the way down to the Showboat at the other end of the casino row. If your looking for lower cost, easier, and safe SW pickups, I'd say your best option is usually from ML King Street (former site of the Sands) down to about the Taj. I never pick up a SW on the stroll itself, that's just asking for trouble. In these blocks pickups shouldn't be a real problem if you're smart about it. Just catch your intended target's attention. There's more traffic (pedestrian and car) in the section between ML King and Trump Plaza, and the presence of the casinos and less sidestreet parking can make that stretch harder to do pickups. SW asking prices also tend to run higher in that stretch.

Was back in AC Thursday evening 08/19 and the steet action was fairly good again between the Taj and 7-11. The quality on a SW scale was pretty low for the most part in my opinion mostly on my scale a 3 to 5 but with some searching I found a few 6-8's on a SW scale. Throughout the evening SW's were out slowed down a little during a few hours of the heavy rain but some were even out in that so action was definately solid. If you go you will definately find something down there outside the casino's but again quality might not be there.

The other day I spotted a small petite little thing in the Tennessee Ave area during the afternoon. She was in shorts and looked barely 5 feet and less than 100lbs. Just a heads-up that following the recent fatal carjacking that began in the Taj lot (2nd such murder in the past year and a half) , LE is now for the first time patrolling casino parking lots, making that option more risky than before.

Don't get excited. There is still not that much action happening on AC streets, and hardly any influx of hot young new talent like the kind last seen 6 or 7 years ago. But I am seeing a few more out on the street and over the last weeks have spotted a few longtime AC regulars who've been MIA for quite awhile. One is Katie who is probably the most regular of all AC SWs over the past few years. She is a good provider. Another is Star, a tall slender, older SW who was headed to jail for an extended term many months ago when I last saw her. She is sporting more weight and a new hairstyle and color (brunette rather than blond) when I saw her. Both of these woman hang out up near Resorts and the Taj. I stayed down at the Ascot and there always seemed to be someone in the near vicinity. It does seem like there is more foot traffic though in the afternoon between the Trop and Ballys.
