Any of you guys ever text a provider, then get a threatening message back from a Mexican cartel / pimp to pay him for wasting her time. Threatened to kill me and my family. Texted me a couple times and called me. Sent me crime scene pics of Mexican cartel murders and decapitations. I assume it's a scam, but a first for me and it was a little unsettling.

Anyone ever get threatening texts from a pimp? I texted a few girls earlier this week, then got a text from a random number claiming to be a mexican cartel pimp. Said I wasted his girls time, he had my name and address, and had to pay him or he would kill me and my family, blah blah blah. Texted me twice, sent very graphic crime scene pics of Cartel murders and decapitations. Then called me. I didn't answer. Nothing since. I assume it's a money scam, but damn, that's some unsettling shit that I had never run into before. I use a burner phone, so there's no way to know who I am. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

I had a scenario once before, not that threatening though, but I did provide an address to meet me up if they want to talk smacks and not do sh! T. They later just ignored me as I was challenging them to meet me ASAP and do something about it. They then asked if I was LE and I said no, come and talk face to face and quit hiding behind that phone screen and type sh! T. I wasn't having it as I do not like to be taunt or bullied.

Can someone please educate me on how to get a burner phone? I would like a phone that cannot be traced back to me should LEO recover a cell phone (and hence the text messages) of an escort whom I have met. I prefer a smartphone (I cannot really remember how to text a pre smartphone cellular) but clearly the important issue is that I can buy time online and time calling using cash.

For simplicity many use a burner app which is NOT foolproof. The number is still linked to an account (usually) The real question is are they going to go through all that work to bust someone? Imo no. Look how many providers use their real phone numbers that link to their real name yet keep posting year after year. Sending a text asking if someone is available with no explicit details won't hold up. The only case I can imagine if something serious happens to a provider and they can get a warrant. But might as well worry about being hit by a meteor. Security is a great discussion though so happy to see it.
Tl: dr Don't need a burner phone, get a burner app, use common sense and you'll be fine.

They will not ask you for identification you can buy a nice smartphone for $30 and $50 per month (plan) to get you unlimited calls and text and internet. So total damage is probably around a hundred bucks or cheaper. This is what I do. But I'm sure you'll get reports from other guys with more complicated methods which I avoid.
For the record I've been hobbyn for 20 years and have never had any problems. When you call girls. Whatever fake name you use will pop up on the girls phone. So no red flags on there end.
Same experience. I just wanted check off red head off my list.
