Your best bet if you don't mind paying out of pocket is to order the tests yourself online. There are a lot of websites that do that. I don't remember how much it costs since I did it once a long time ago. They'll write you the order and you just take the order to a place that does blood draws usually the same ones that do pre employment drug screens. I asked where does she get tested if she does at all, so that I can get also tested over there to which she replied she is a veteran and she would not know any place outside of it. Well, that at least gives some hope that she may be disease free and does not have anything.
Now here is my predicament. What should I do? Now I feel better, I think I am healed no more pain or anything discomfort. But what about getting tested. First time ever and only time in my life, I have been tested for STD was just 6-7 months back when I had suspicion of having something because of my urination problem at my primary physician (even though I use protection but still get BBBJ) which turned out to be clean and it was something else age related stuff.
So my question is. Is it okay to go and ask my primary physician to write me another test by telling her this accident (of course I would not mention this part of seeing a professional)? I have no family etc in my insurance that I worry about. But my worry is that does this kinda repeated requests for STD tests would end up in raising my health insurance premium or my doctor would alert / report someone or someplace that could cause any problem in getting another health insurance in future when I change jobs or change insurance?
