I Thought It Was Understood
You have to be joking, Chinatown has lots of Korean restaurants and nail salons.
We were talking about AMPs, not restaurants & nail salons. So I'll rephrase what I said so you'll understand, maybe. When I said how many Koreans do you think work in Chinatown, I took it for granted you would remember we were talking about AMPs. So, think back. How many Koreans do you think work in AMPs in Chinatown? I've been to 14 in Chinatown and so far they have all been Chinese, and there more AMPs there that I haven't been to, but I am willing to bet that most, if not all are Chinese.
In Ma. I know of the 14 previously mentioned in Chinatown that are Chinese, in metrowest 12 that are Chinese, 8 in Quincy that are Chinese, 2 in Braintree that are Chinese, and the list goes on & on. Your assumption that most AMPs are staffed mostly by Koreans is flawed.
Mark Twain Lives On, Go East
So, this week I wanted to confirm something for myself and sure enough I did not let my self down. I stopped by the alphabet spa on Smithfield and, yup, locked tight. It appeared that many a monger had tread to the locked door before me, because there were a lot of footprints in the snow going only to the door and back and circling back to the little parking area.
Undeterred, I continued north on 95 to the line. The east street place lot was full. I have been there many times and never seen it full. I guess to it goes to show that Newton was right, for every action (like most of the Prov places being closed and parking lots being empty), there is an equal an opposite reaction (like the east st place getting very busy). I saw the weird white van in front on the street in front of the building next door, and was glad I have observed it before. If not, I would have worried about surveillance and driven on.
Thought when I reached the door that it still might be locked, and was pleasantly surprised that the door opened and the doorbell worked. Greeted at door by the standard mamasan who has been there the last couple of years. I visited this place within the last month and was really pissed at the girl who took care of me and for the first time left the girl a terrible tip, told her why, and we were both had a very vocal exchange on my way out. I never wrote a negative review about this on this board because I did not want my first review to be have negative vibes.
Mamasan took me to the room. I stripped, as I had a short wait for a girl to show up and having to wait a couple minutes was okay with me. Having to wait got even more ok with me, when I saw what walked through the door. A beautiful young cutie. (I am not going to state her name in this review, not because I will not share it with anyone or want to hide it, but more because of what is going on in RI right now, and, I don't want to make the target to easy for ellee.) Good massage that was not rushed. Girl speaks excellent English so enjoyable to talk and joke. Great hands, great feet, great body I thought, committed to making you at ease and feel good. Sweet, seductive, more like a higher end GFE escort. I was really afraid I was going to get let down about me perceiving that she had an almost flawless body. But when the bikini bottoms and top came off, it just got better and better. Full time, not shorted. Standard. 6 fee, agreed on a standard tip, but I dropped a bit extra. We clicked, maybe I hit her on a good day. I cannot imagine how she can provide service at this level to every customer every time.
Glad I did not write off this place after the previous visit with a really terrible experience. Because, during this visit a good time was had by all. From the greet, through the best-est tableshower ever, to the actual massage, and on through the no-holds-barred service, this was a top-5 spa experience in years. The only other experience for me that was this exceptional level was a couple of year ago at an acupuncture spa in Mass, in Watertown. That place had a young, beautiful, articulate cutey named Jennifer (preferred to be called by the prim and proper full name, not Jenny). That Jennifer was unique and special. This girl on east street this week has potential to be elevated to unique and special. Of course, next visit, the way things go with the girls, I could just get ho-hum service.
In regards to a poster on the Boston or Worcester board believing that (paraphrasing) that the rhode island scene is dead, I suggest recalling the old Mark Twain comment in his cable from London to the US press: "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated" (I even placed it in quotes for A2 so I do not get in trouble for plagiarizing like Smoke. Of course A2 may preview / screen why report and deem my report as not being publish-worthy and you will never see this post). (Parts of) RI is alive and doing well.

Projo Features NMS. Prov. Spas Closed or Closing
http://www.providencejournal.com/article/20150228/NEWS/150229286
It appears that all of the spas in Providence are closed (or closing).
I would steer clear of the spas in surrounding areas as well (personal opinion), while the spotlight is on.

Ishmael.
