Having lived and mongered in both SoCal and ATL, I can tell you that LA is an entirely different beast from Atlanta. APD on FIB pretty much leave you alone but LAPD are all over Fig and they do undercover stings. Also, Fig can be a bit dangerous at night in some parts, especially if you don't know the area. The last thing you would want to do is to spend the weekend in LA County jail. If you're out that way the best thing to do is drive 2 hours south to TJ.
