Best to meet at a restaurant or public place the first time and go from there. There may not have been any sort of robbery motive, some of these girls want someone to come with them the first time for safety (and they aren't always smart or up front about the presence of that second person). Or they are just too irresponsible to own a car themselves and their friend is their ride, or they are hoping their GF can join in on the fun and get some money too, etc.
