I went a little too far calling one out and calling him a piece of shit and then argued with the admin over infractions and that got my posts permanently monitored, (at least they have been for well over a year now). It all boils down to numbers and the more people that are on this site clicking away, the more money they get for ads. Lurkers and guests are not going anywhere so it's best to just ignore them and hope that they decide to become contributing members sooner or later.
That being said, I have been on this site for many years and have contributed in many different cities and I have asked for recommendations in Long Island and Manhattan and gotten nothing but one PM regarding AMP's. It seems like NY is not too big on helping any outsiders even if they are contributing members. I have been in the Queens area for a few weeks now and decided not to bother reaching out, but have seen a few providers that I will review when I have more time on my hands.
I do have one questions though. What is a CDP? I've looked through the abbreviations on here and do not see it. Like I said, I've been in many different cities and NY is the first place I have seen mention of CDP's. Just curious.
