Add only your email address to your address book. Then wait a couple of days to see if you receive anything unwanted from your email address in your inbox. However, I will say that whomever you send an email to is automatically saved to your contact list which means if your account gets hacked then the hacker automatically has access to all of your contacts so be sure to clean out your address book from time to time.

And this is reason #192 why I will never give my personal info to a provider. A situation like this could very well leave your personal info floating out there in cyber space exposed to prying eyes despite the noblest intentions of our lady friends.

I meant it sent out spam to all my hobby related contacts. The automatically saved contacts were "Provider X from Jacksonville","Provider Y from Pensacola","date check technical support" and so forth; no non-hobby contacts. Gmail asks for too much personal stuff to use as a hobby email. I used yahoo because they don't ask for so much but I'm thinking I should change since they automatically save contacts.

The above was posted by VS a couple of days ago. I was not aware of it till today because he has put me on his ignore list. I do not know much about the ignore list as I have never used it before and am not planning to in the future. I like to read everyone's posts, not just those I agree with. I submit VS is a bully and I challenged him on the board by exposing him for reporting information that was not factual. If I click on the thread itself, I can't see his posts, but if I click on his name, I can read the first couple of sentences of his posts by bringing up his forum posts. Sounds a bit complicated, but it is really not, it is just not that easy to explain. If you have a question about it, shoot me a PM. I have found out that when someone puts you on ignore, you can't read their reports. I thought when if someone put another person on ignore, it only stopped them from seeing the reports they don't want to see, but it works both ways. You learn something new every day, or maybe I am not too bright and everyone already knows all of this.

As to the troll insults VS made, you all can make up your own minds, but I think the pot is calling the kettle black.

If you click their screen name you'll be asked to log in, then you can see their post history. If a "blocker" posts a comment which goes out in the site's "Reply to thread" email, the blocked member can also see that. Blocking isn't 100 percent reliable. Of course this is immaterial to those operating multiple profiles.

I just noticed that each poster has his handle in white, bold letters, on his post, but the color barely stands out. It's almost invisible but is there. Don't tell me this has been this way all along and I'm just now noticing it!
