Uccello's may be a good option as I love to eat Lunch may be a better time for a lot of us. Night time becomes more difficult for those with S.O's as you need to be accountable to your whereabouts.

Over the years I have built "space" into my normal routine. This allows me to have some fun without people asking questions about my whereabouts or what I was doing.

Main thing for me is to maintain as much normality in my personal life as possible. Getting together with anyone (outside of long time friends) after work or any part of the evening would be far out of my norm.

Then there is the aspect of actually meeting other members here. That could be interesting but I'd rather not put names to faces even if they are screen names. Just seems safer that way.

Social single guys are probably the best candidates for get togethers, it's more complicated for those with S.O.'s.

I think the meetings are a fun idea, it just might not work for some of us.

I'd love to meet and share stories, and keep screen names out of it, as well as providers (except someone new you want to introduce), and a bigger concern for me is my paranoia. If someone is LE they could have it set up to get all our plate numbers and photos as we pulled up and walked in. From there a sting ain't too far behind. As I said, just my own paranoia at work. What's the point of getting together at a sports bar or something where you can't even talk about what we all have in common? I think it would be great to meet some of you as I know I have a lot in common with several as I've been around a long time and would like to reminisce about the "good ol' days". I haven't always been active, but I do have a couple of old timer stories that might be fun to share. Anyway, I may be in or out. It just all depends on the circumstances. And no, "depends" was not a reference to my age or undergarments!

When I look to go to a place for an event like this I consider the size of the crowd (need smaller place), type of crowd (look for one without a lot of families and does not pull from a big geographic area (Olive Garden is not on the list as is Uncello's), Price of drinks (I am not cheap, just low budget, last time I got out with two drafts over 2.5 hours), reasonable food selection / value and price (just a good bar menu).

The last place was perfect as we had a whole section to our selves and were able to hold conversation and talk in confidence as there were no other tables filled directly next to us.

In events like this I also keep my wits about me and am ready to cash out and leave in a sec with anything questionable comes up.

Attendance is not mandatory let alone open to all so to each his own and nothing held against anyone for their decision.

Wasn't sure what section to post this. I was referred to a provider thru a fellow monger here. Great referral, great time, so I thank you.

Our fellow member said it was ok with him if it's ok with the provider to write a review. She will be leaving the area Monday and won't be back till Nov. 3 but offers incall in GR. She's Asian / American and pics posted will be recent pics. Very nice girl and great service. I am ONLY GIVING CONTACT INFO AND DETAILS TO SENIOR MEMBERS I've communicated with, no exceptions. I'm doing this out of respect for our fellow member (not sure he wants to be identified) and Jewels. OK. This is a great place to gather intel on the hobby. And my searches have included CL, BP, and that's pretty much it. Is there any other place that I should be visiting to find the right providers for me? Am I missing out on anything? If anyone would care to send me a PM on where I might find leads I would be very appreciative. I don't know what I can offer that I haven't already given up here, but I'm always happy to share anything I can!

Swingers in the front, Donation providers in the back. And the two were always mixed to some degree. I think I may even have a few copies from the good ol' days packed away. History is not forgotten, just packed away in a box in the basement!
