Regarding Lotus Flowerz' disappearance
It looks like LF website is down. I knew in that high-profile location they would not last long,. But I thought it may be more than a week. Anyone see any news? Was it a bust or did they just pack up and leave?
My own personal speculative guess is that business started drying up once word got out about the "old man" being in the same house as the providers. If mongers stopped going to LF b / c of this, I have a PSA to make: you guys need to chill out.
Apparently, this is pretty common in LF-like places in NYC. Based on what I read on NYC-based forums, these LF-like places have a security guy who hangs out in the living while you do your business in the bedrooms upstairs. Some guys are freaked out by this, some are not. I am not. It is no different than going to an AMP and meeting with the mamasan before being escorted into the massage room. In this case, the mamasan happens to be a guy, so I would just call him the papasan instead.
I am currently in NYC for the holidays and I just had a session at a setup similar to LF. This place was located in a quiet residential area of Queens, and in a townhouse, similar to how LF operated. I parked my car on the streets and was told to come in. The first person to greet me was an Asian guy in his 30's. He walked me thru the living room to the stairs and told me that the girl I was to see is in the left bedroom. I walked up the stairs, he did not walk up the stairs with me. Once I walked into one of the bedrooms, I met the girl and we did our business. After parting ways with the girl, I walked down the stairs and the Asian guy asked me if I would like a bottle of water. I accepted. He walked me to the door and I said thanks. That was it. Wasn't awkward at all.
As you know, NYC isn't exactly the safest place in the world, especially given the recent uptick in crime. It makes sense that these places would have some sort of security. After all, if someone wanted to rob these girls, they can easily do so, considering that these girls are carrying lots of cash and do not have anyone else to call for help. So the whole point of this post is: if LF ever comes back to the Fairfax area (and I hope they do), don't flip out about another guy in the house!
