Maybe desperate scam
The Asian places are the only out of my location area codes I would try. Their scheduler is often out of my area code. They are usually legitimate however their scam is that the girl is 20 years older than the picture and anything that I want is an up sell.
The scammers are onto the fact that the Asian area codes are good.
The real Asian ads usually post the surrounding cities. Any cash up front is a scam. Anything paid by card is a scam. Remember the data on the card.

They're most likely requesting the eBay gift cards as they're already defaulted to "international" and not regional to the US. If they had a VISA Vanilla, they wouldn't be able to use the cards outside the US. Probably using WhatsApp from a foreign destination.
