NC Hunter.[/QUOTE]I understand where you are coming from, NC Hunter. Some of our best participants on this board started out as newbies and made the same or similar mistakes. He made a review on May 11 on this thread. Granted he could have provided much more detailed information in that review.
Think: WWSD (What Would Skiper Do). Explain how things work and allow for the misstep.
As a person posts useful information and observations to this thread over time, that person's stature here increases. After a while more senior members are more willing to share information like phone numbers with other members.
Some newbies think they should trade a number for another number, as though they possess a commodity. That is not the usual way of doing things here.
So give a newbie some slack.
Besides I want the number of that redhead, me having a penchant for redheads.

It was near midnight beginning Memorial Day weekend. The police were easily found giving tickets to motorists on any street one chose to use. At Nebraska and 142nd I see the shape of a woman thin enough to suit me and I pull over a few feet down 142nd to wait for her to get into the car.
I did not recognize her. She said her name is Jessica. We drove to my spot. Her left wrist is broken and her full-sized cast hampered her performance. She stopped BBBJ frequently. That was a turnoff. She complained that it was not getting hard quick enough. That's typical with all the stopping like she was doing. She preferred to argue the point rather than get back to work. I told her we were finished and dumped her off on 12th street between 140th and 142nd.
If I recognize her again, I will not stop again. Total waste of time.
