Greek Sneek, I'm sure your post is in relation to my comments lately. I don't believe anything I've said lately is unnecessary drama in the least. True, I may be the only one that posts anything publicly on the forum relating to the issues I see, but I am certainly not the only one who notices and is concerned about it. Others just choose to not voice themselves on the public forum. I get PMs all the time in relation to people's concerns about other people posting too much information on the public forum and others suspicions about who might be LE and so forth. This has been going on for several years now, it's not like it's just started. All you have to do is read back in the forum and you'll see we always discuss the fact LE is watching, and that others here might be LE and just how much info is too much. This past month in confidence I received good information in relation to the posters I had mentioned, and shared the jist of it with those here I trust. I deemed it credible enough to not ignore it. I find it funny through the years there have been those here who don't want to take being cautious about posting information on the public forum seriously, and want to take the posture that LE probably looks in anyway and probably knows the stuff we post to begin with so why be this way now. Someone else thought I was assuming the other poster was trying to talk about old times to form a profile on me to ID me or to form some case on people here in relation to intent or something crazy. That wasn't my point about that at all. For one thing, what we post here is nothing but the typed word, no one can prove it actually happened. It's the past, even if it's a few hours ago. It's no different than Ez Rydr posting the bullshit about the 'girl' from Hueytown he picked up, no one can prove anything anybody posts is real. For all we know everyone is embellishing stories of their exploits on here. You have to be caught in the act of doing, or attempting to do at that time, to be caught dealing with a prostitute - such as being caught trying to pick up a decoy or visiting a decoy escort's room. What we discuss here is useless in relation to getting in trouble for talking about our exploits, all we provide by discussing things here is information 'about' the topic in general which they might not know such as where particular girls might be. The part I was pissed off about was finding out the poster was LE, and they were trying to make themselves 'liked' here by posting bullshit 'old times' reminiscing to fit in. I'm not going to discuss mongering with a fucking cop, and it pisses me off because people like that assume because we monger and 'break the law' that we're stupid and ignorant and can't see the horses ass for what it is. I also find it curious and odd, but mostly funny, how many new posters there has been since then. Most of these new posters have been talking about the past, one mentioning people only I have mentioned in my posts, but most saying they've been long time readers and just decided at this very time to start posting. That's an example of what I mean by assuming we're stupid. All it did was irritate me and piss me off in general.

All I mainly was meaning, and my main point in relation to the current topic of bogus and bullshit posters is to be careful what information you post in regards to specifics about where certain girls might be, especially if it's someone you like to date. Why lead LE right to a girl ? Honestly I couldn't care less if someone posted the exact location of girls like Susan, Cindy, Melissa and the like because I wouldn't date them to begin with. The member who posted info about those type girls hasn't posted on the public forum in several months in the first place. But for girls I occasionally date there's no way I'd give info as to where they're at on the open forum. Most of those who PM on here who have favorites or inquire about certain girls don't share info about them on the open forum to begin with. That's how things have been on here for a while. Just because I brought up the subject publicly doesn't mean it's anything new.

In relation to there being no 'current' information in the way of mongering on here lately, let me say this. To really monger you actually have to monger. Mongering does require the wasting of gas and time, regardless of what information might be posted here. Any time I've seen information on here regarding a girl who might be around a certain place, I still had to waste my gas riding around looking. That's part of it. Usually what you see here is where a girl 'might' be presently. Just because somebody posted that they found Debbie walking near 50th and what went on and where she was let out does not guarantee you'll find her at either location. The really useful information here is where to monger in general, and most who monger know that by now without having to read the forum. That's really all you need to know regardless of how much current info there is posted of late.

Also, Birminghamguy, could you post the subjects relating to streetwalking and mongering in the 'Streetwalker Reports' thread elsewhere ? Since it now exists that's where I've posted relating to SW of late. It would make it easier for everyone to keep the subjects straight and all in one thread. Thanks.

Again, no offense intended. I have read back over older posts and have gained lots of information from it. I am not, nor do I worry about LE, since I am only typing my thoughts. I agree that the section's subject be maintained, that's all.

Several months ago topic specific threads were made for Backpage, as well as Streetwalkers, yet those topics continue to be posted in this General thread, and the Craigslist thread. Since they appeared, any SW info or advice I've posted I've tried to keep in the SW thread to help the visitors that come here to have everything in one concise thread. These threads are not only for us locals, but also for visitors to the area. I know when I visit other cities I would like to only have to look in the topic spcific thread to find the information I need. If people have to look in the General thread as well as the SW thread for the SW topic, it gets confusing. I can only imagine how confusing it would be for those interested in Backpage topics having to look not only in it's specific thread, but also the Craigslist and General thread as well. It really doesn't matter that the older information relating to SW and the like is in the General thread, as how much information on that topic - other than the areas to search - is actually good after a few weeks or months.

Agreed. It does make it hard to have fun, but it should allow us all to go back to basics. Be vigilant, do YOUR homework and verification should be a must on both sides of the coin.

I find it funny they're making such a big issue out of people exchanging money to fuck. While they're getting their panties all in a wad over people skipping countless hours of phone conversations and dinner dates just to jump right to what most of the men seek anyway, Birmingham basically becomes the main feature city on First 48. You are correct CK... I will admit that albeit my post count is low, I have been around a few years. Just never been one to post just to increase my numbers. If it has validity or I have something to add that is contributing that hasn't already been said, I'll do so. There are quite a few of us here that are also elsewhere in cyberland, and my posts there are generally low as well.

I'm not meaning ones like you, I'm meaning ones with less than 5 posts. They've appeared out of the kudzu like rats lately. But that doesn't always hold true as seen lately with Ez Rydr & RW Angel being exposed as the same, not to mention being LE. I'm sure there's others here as well.

Used the info provided for hot spots in Bham and set on a mission to partake. Hit up Old Hwy 75. Nothing. Hit up Woodlawn, nothing. Hit up Finley and after making 4 cruises decided to try out Legion Field. On leaving I spotted my first SW, picked her up. I agree. I've always thought it was stupid to say you're dreaming, as if saying it was a dream absolves you if they were to come after you based on what you post here. To being with, you won't be hunted down and held accountable for your past experiences with prostitutes, escorts, masseuses, or the like based on posting it on here. There would be no way to prove it ever happened. It could all be someone's fantasy they're living online through an identity they created, and they get SW's names and the like from other people's posts. That's why they try to catch people in stings and the like, because they have to actually catch the person in the act and have real proof it happened. Heck, they can't do anything to you even if they find you in the company of a SW, it's the circumstances surrounding the event that gets the person in trouble. I've heard of people being stopped with a SW in their vehicle, and the fact she was in their vehicle wasn't the subject of the stop so it wasn't mentioned. I'm guessing you're meaning Motel 8 on 1st Avenue & 50th Street. The entrance to that motel is easy for the girls to stand out in front of it and then disappear just by them ducking inside behind the main wall. They could be right inside, but out of view of the passing cars, so it easily looks like they vanished. Many of their rooms are within a quick sprint of the main entrance so they also could vanish into their respective rooms as well. The motel management knows exactly what goes on, and they receive payment from the girls for visitors they have in their rooms to not make issue of them conducting their SW and drug business there. There's been many times I've seen several girls out in front, and circled back around and they're all gone. It's just the makeup of the motel and it's real easy for them to duck back inside. That's why they're so bold to stand right in front. If they do go to the side streets it's usually to go down 50th Street, and usually because they either live down that way or that's where the dope is. Most times, though, the dope is on the inside so they don't ever have to venture off the lot. The Budget in Bessemer has the same layout as Motel 8, though the rooms on the back side are closer together. It's rare to find girls hanging outside the Budget as well.

Right. They have to have corroborating evidence in order to file a criminal complaint. So they would have to track down the other person who would then have to agree to what was posted (in the process giving up their 5th amendment right not to self incriminate) or already have some other corroborating witness. Simply not worth their time. And your right again, it's why they do stings.

Man I am sorry to hear that and I know where you're coming from. I got canned from a job I had been at for 22 years in 2008 and got canned from a job in June of this year. Keep your chin up and be flexible as you can in looking for work and hopefully you will find a better job very soon.

With the economy the way it is, it sucks looking for a job. But there are jobs out there. I had to leave B'ham to get one, but I figured I'm move for the new job and keep looking in B'ham in the process.

You probably could have gotten away with offering $30 to begin with and she'd have agreed to it just the same. I'm familiar with the 'I don't do that' shit they try to pull. First, $80? Really? Not for a SW. Don't give them any ideas or delusions.
