I'm sure a provider doesn't really want other providers calling her to verify a reference. Some providers want the names and contact numbers as your reference. Wow. As often as some peoples cell phone numbers change. That's not always practical. Perhaps a real "enthusiast" with weekly regulars won't find that a problem. Some sites use a vouch system. It's not fool proof but I think it helps and it's relatively painless. I don't have much trouble identifying the safest providers on this board. I prefer to let others test the waters with newbie providers. I suppose I'm just risk adverse that way. Not that I don't help out by bringing an occasional new face to the board as I meet some ladies out and about. The only reference I generally have to provide is my board handle. It's sufficient to see that I've seen a few well known providers with no problems. In this way I can have "references" by known "trusted" providers that may even have left the hobby already. I'm not even sure how many providers actually even go through the very minimal trouble to actually verify my references (a few have admitted to me that they didn't actually check them). I think many just want to see how you will "react" to the request. Those who balk or just dangle carrot$ would be some cause for concern. Besides, I'm sure that nobody here on this board actually pays for. Or accepts $ for sexual services. Certainly not me. I just like to meet attractive women. And whatever happens.

Of course once upon a time, I had no references. I'm happy there were a few like Buddah that are good at what they do and can weed out the bad eggs for his friends.

Here is the way I see it, whether you agree or not. If a provider requires 2 references I am happy to oblidge. This tells me she is being very safe about her actions. Thus I get the feeling I am walking into a situation that checks out. In return I may ask her for references as well. It has happened where the provider would not give me references, and I simply moved on. But from my experience on here, whether good bad or indifferent, I could message any provider on this site and be seen quickly. Why you ask? Because I have paid my dues and with my presence on the board a few years, they know I am legit, and likewise with the ones that have been here a while that I know are legit.

It all boils down to if you are known or not. Providers talk, just as mongers do. Once your name is out there, references are not needed. I am sure all you agree with this. Mf.

Refs are important, for BOTH sides. But newbies need to understand you can do this in several ways. It's more a matter of showing the provider that you are not LE. But considering the risks involved (on both sides) , safety is also in play here. I don't have a single issue with a provider asking for refs. But if they are not a proven provider, I want reassurances as well. I have refs, newbies don't. So it can be difficult for them to get them.

Just as I would do research on a provider before I call, they should do some checks once I call them. For everyone's safety sake.

Maybe if someone used their personal number or personal email address, but neither you or LE can find out anything on a burner phone. Especially one purchased with cash. I'm not trying to bash you in any way. Just saying that even you have seen people without doing a reference check.

The weak reference checks most providers do and relying on senior status gives both providers and clients a false sense of security. Everyone should enter each visit as it is the first visit. Always check your surroundings. Pay attention to if a provider is a little different on the phone this time versus the last time you talked to her. You never know if LE has gotten to the provider / client since the last time you saw him / her. Also, everyone should avoid putting too much detail on any site. My post count is low by design not because I'm new at this.

I got comfortable once with someone I had seen multiple times, I had to fight my way out of her apt that day. I was lucky no weapons were present and it was only a single guy. I was also lucky that I was able to escape before anyone called LE. There is no amount of reference checking anyone can do that will protect us from a boyfriend / pimp / wife that is hiding in the shadows waiting to catch their significant other cheating or whatever their intentions are. Which they are also providers on this board asking for reference but runs ads on BP and it does not state that a reference is needed? Ally brought this topic up for open discussion because she cares for the saftey of other providers and members on the board. And there has been alot of good points made by several senior and new members. But to be honest I do not think the system will change one way or the other. Just throwing my two cents worth in the pot.

A provider's greatest asset isn't what's between her legs, but a good reputation as providing a top notch companionship experience. It's not just about sex, but what goes on before, during, and after. I used to see a particular girl fairly regularly. I liked seeing her not because she was the prettiest or had the skills to join Cirque du Soleil. I was also planning to get into last week's football party and got response from Ally to attend it but was caught in last min on call issue in my job.

I have a question for all if a provider shared personal info such as last names real identities would you tell other providers you have seen and if talked about would you call that provider and give them a heads up.

As you and I have texted a few times, and I have spoken to other providers via pm my opinion is we providers need to watch out for not only ourself but eachother, that not only means bad clients but as you are speaking of personal information as well, just my 2cents. Rhonda.

Whenever I have found out a provider's real name, it was not by choice-clients tend to have big mouths. And names is not the only things they like to repeat. But I am not a vindictive asshole, so usually that info goes in one ear and right out the other, and normally I just don't believe it.

So, girls, be wary of what personal info you give out to clients-they may seem genuine, but they will run their mouths like grandma at a church supper.

Beware of ladies who blacklist for the wrong reasons, revenge, spite, or extortion. It is up to each woman to protect and decide their actions but blacklisting for retaliatory activities above is dangerous to all. Never share your I'd's with anyone you don't personally know WELL and trust. Men respect any lady who does and BOTH never use it against each other. Many of us are mothers and fathers who should protect each other in this. Please keep our women safe and both respect each other. Hope I have not overstepped my bounds but a plethora of bad blacklists have in the past ruined many a good person in the past. Have a Happy Holiday ladies and let's help each other. PT

Eventually, some provider gets it in her head to leverage the blacklist and declares herself queen of the universe with a little clique of provider followers."I will blacklist you!", becomes a mantra.

Blacklisting, no matter how much of a good idea in the beginning, with good motives, eventually just becomes a weapon. That scares guys away, and the business of providing suffers. It's worse for the providers because they may have their feeling of power, but the guys who didn't indulge still have the cash. You can't use feelings of power to pay rent or buy food.

Guys see providers for the drama free, hassle free, no strings attached experience.

If you want to add an element of drama to the negotiations, then do so at your own risk.

Sure they might have a desired skill set, or a hot body, but I will sacrifice eye candy for great attitude every day of the week. We used to call that the golden pussy syndrome. When I see a provider showing symptoms of that, I just go back to my dependable regulars and resist the temptation to fall for the pretty face with a nasty soul.

They can blacklist me or you all they want (it jsut does me a favor and saves me money) , but my regulars will always take my calls because they know I might bit out of shape, kind of ugly (or cute if they like Shrek) , but I am pretty damned skilled BCD myself and I am always kind and friendly in person, and my money spends well.
