Green in sterling is good. Been there 3 times. Seems the first time you see a girl its outstanding service, prolly to get you back. Suzie was a msg w/ nova finish and Ivy was the repeat. Ivy was a 10 the first time but service was a 6 the 2nd. Its clean inside and I know they change the toewls instead of re using.
Also. The plce by 28/29 isn't worth a crap. They seemed very uneasy so I figured they are being watched or have been shut down before.

New girl there now named Bonnie. She gives an absolute killer massage. She has brownish hair, 5' 2", 32 B, nice body, 100 lbs. I have not had a backwalk like she gives in some time, she is the perfect weight and she knows how to grind her toes into the knots and sore spots. I was totally relaxed and I even timed with my stopwatch and it was a full one hour of work. The best that I have had from this establishment.

Standard rates and tip. No TS, an "on your own" shower and clean room. Since I got the impression that more may be available in future visits I will visit again.
Went back by one in PWC and saw Mickey. It was OK, but not near as nice as the first time I went by the place. A little roaming allowed with standard nova finish. Seemed more interested in getting money and getting me out of there. Might go by again, but won't use her.

One of the best massages I have ever had, anywhere, was at Comfort Theraputic recently. Sara gave me a very good, thorough table shower followed by a wonderful massage with NOVA finish, done in the 69 position. After that she got a hot towel to clean me up then continued to massage my front side. Finally she helped me dress and sent me on my way with a big hug and kiss and a piece of candy. I'll be back!
If this is the place next to I-66 it has alwasy sucked.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I am a regular of all the nova spots and have finally decided to step up and make a report and add some value to the boards.
Been going to cosmo for quite some time. They recently brought in someone new that has me coming back again and again. Clean, quiet spot, not crazy about the fact that you are totally exposed to all the office workers and parking lot when you ring the bell and wait for the door to open, but I guess it isn't that bad seeing as how they get to the door pretty quick.
Kay is just awesome! Unbelievable body, and the willingness to truly take care of those that take care of her. Once she feels comfortable with you, the opportunities are endless, beautiful see cup, nice ass of which you will get a full shot of with roaming encouraged if you are a friend. Haven't tried for FS because it isn't my thing but it may be available once you have visited her a number of times.
I always only do 30 minutes and that is generally all I ever need with kay. Typical 60 at the door and. 40 /. 60 depending on the mood I am in. She would be happy with. 20, no upselling at all, just a true pleasure to be with.
Last visit it was your typical nova finish via being massaged between the nice see cups. Very enthusiastic!
BTW. Haven't heard her name mentioned recently but does anyone out there miss cherry from virginia physical therapy? Holy hell she was hot, gone for good from what I understand.

I would suggest Backlick Therapy except that they are touting new talent. IF Julia is still there, she is the pick of the litter. Great hands, phenomenal back walk, and down right friendly attitude. She used her toes on my once in a back walk, on my feet, legs, butt, back, shoulders, arms and hands - words cannot describe. The girl knows the art and science of the massage. She just had surgery (don't know, didn't ask), and is working only a few days a week. Standard NOVA finish, but if it is the back rub you want, she is the girl to do it.
PM me for info on a girl that is becoming a favorite. She uses hot stones as well and is in a private setting. Great experience.

I have been happy at NSP over the last year or so, with the ex-MS of the popular place, pre-red, around the corner. However this last time was not so good. Sara. Small with large bolt-ons, small a** not a gfe by any means. Could see scar under right bolt-on. At least they were not hard as a rock. Asked for a tip in advance of massage. Which for me, destroys the "mood" and I had a difficult time enjoying the business-like what have you done for me lately session. She appeared to be a real pro and perhaps a jaded one at that, making for an overall least enjoyable session. She just wasn't "nice". So I think I will await the next rotation, perhaps the return of Sunny, who was extremely service oriented, and fun.
Visited this place today, and was greeted by a petite K-lady by the name of Kim, who looked to be in the early part of her third decade or the later part of the second. Asked for a strong massage, and she delivered, that's what I needed after 4 days of weight training. Her hands are a lot stronger than you would think, she is a petite, slim, and more youthful lady than the average.
Recommended for those who like a deep, strong massage. Nova was ok, nothing to rave about, but did the job. You need to guide her if she missed a spot.

Pros: Very deep, strong massage, just what I needed today. Slim, petite lady. Above average in the looks department. And more youthful than the average.
Cos: Very quiet lady, doesn't seem to like to talk, although her english is very good. Took very good care of my back, but on the flip did not provide therapy on the front of legs, shoulders, chest, arms. Basically she completely skip the front, except for the part that needed therapy the most.
Last week tried three different options and was very pleased with the result in each case:
First was the same AAMP I had previously posted about (with the girl with the big NY tattoo and her big-butted manager); Over the phone when making an appt she quoted "$80 or $140" -- I figured I would put down $80 (in advance, in the envelope which is her M.O.) and ask about the $140; but unprompted both women came in topless and did the "4-hands" routine. It was pretty nice and I never did ask about the $140 option (which I am sure would have been simply what I got.) I tipped $40 and figured I still came out ahead.
Second was Pine Tree and "Lucky" -- she was a little rough in the face (like she may have once a facelift that didn't go so well). Not horrible, just not a pure, young spinner. Nice rack and nice ass. Allowed ample roaming and did a very nice job (terrific attitude), plus she was very excited with a $50 tip (I think $40 would have been sufficient but she was pretty cool so I upped the usual). I would definitely repeat but she will be too old for some.
Third was not in the NoVa but in Laurel, MD at Lily Spa. Options were limited at 1am since I was in the area (literally passing through) I made a stop at there, this being my first AMP experience in the area 10 years ago and having a repeated only a couple of time since. House fee is $70 and I presume FS could be had there, but I have never gone beyond $60 in tip. Unlike my experience at most NoVa AMPs, they always negotiate the tip in advance. I tend to shoot low then when they demand $60 try to ratchet up the services. This time was no different, for $60 I got topless and HE and she had a thong on which she pulled over to allow snatch access.
I normally don't like asian snatch but this one was sooo nice, and she was really a true spinner (I doubt if she was older than 30) and just so clean and tight. It was quite nice and I almost upped the ante, but figured it was good enough so why spoil it. Would definitely repeat -- but who knows if she will be there next time (chances are she won't.) 2009 was a tough year for me, and a new job finally allowed me an overage in the bank account, and some fun time.
So I found myself at the same place of my prior report, and met P***a (mid/late 30's, 115#-ish, B-cup). After I told her how long I was away she became very reluctant, kept the towel in between us, and chit-chat grew to a minimum (crap!).
The backwalk was great, but a mediocre front massage. As for HE, I had to stop her before she rushed out of the room, and specifically ask, to which I received a sighing 'Oh all right'. She shook hands long after I had released my grip(which was actually awesome).
My only complaints: 1) roaming not encouraged 2) paid for hour but in and out in 40 mins.
Damage. 8 +. 4.

While others were shopping at 6:00 am, I slept.and at the reasonable hour of 10, I decided it was time to return for a comforting massage at *** (just outside the beltway in NoVA).
I had been traveling for most of the past several weeks and had not visited since early October. Sara (who must be my most favorite since she tells me I am her favorite customer.) scolded me for being gone "too long" (even-though she remembered I had told her I would be away for about two months).
Greeting: 8/10
The parking is not so discrete and neither is the hallway entrance, but the warmth of the smile and the nice "hug, welcome back" makes up for it all. As a long-time patron, no question about how long (an hour) and a hot shower (of course). I paid what is well recognized in NoVA as the standard house fee for the hour. A slight delay (for the water to warm), while she was out of the room, I undressed, put on the robe, and was shortly escorted to the large table in the shower room
Shower: 10/10
An almost 20 minute massage with soap and hot water and lots of soapy giggles. Superb.
Massage: many interruptions (at least 4) make me rate the massage experience as an 8/10. [For whatever reason, this morning was busier than I and they expected].
Having "downgraded" for the interruptions. Let me advise that if you like a soft-massage, rate this a 9. 5+/10 soft massage. The great TS coupled with the great soft-massage is why I return to *** on a regular basis. If I want medium or firm massage I go other places. But for 60-minutes of soft-touches, this is the best I've found.
After the flip: A very nice 15 minutes of arm, leg, foot and head massage. This is a massage skill that has improved over the time I've been visiting ***.
The departure: 10/10. More hugs, smiles, talk about winter and yard work, and the neighbor's tree that drops leaves in other people's yard (requiring more yard work and raking!) Help with the shirt, sox and shoes. No hurrying out the door (even-though it was a busy morning.
As usual I left a tip under the clock. As usual it was never discussed, and she doesn't look at it while I am still in the room (I always assume they pick-it up after I leave). Since the ladies are happy when I return, I assume it is an appropriate amount (and it is. NoVA standard+. 1 extra since this visit made my Thanksgiving Weekend nicer for me).
*** is a place that treats regular customers as valued clients. Nothing outside of the common limits of many NoVA establishments happens here (so our Uncle should not want to visit). The ladies are simply more pleasant, have better attitudes, and when they are happy it shows in their eyes and smiles.
FBAS: 9/8/10/8. 5 (0. 5 deducted only because she had to answer the door, phone and questions from co-workers)

My employer provides me with very generous and comprehensive health insurance. And today, while reviewing my health insurance coverage, I found out that "spinal, and joint manipulation....[and] soft tissue manipulation including massage" is covered by my insurance.
Now, some of the AMP's have very legit-sounding names, like Fairfax Therapy, or Virginia Therapeutic, and a lot of the therapists are actually certified massage therapists. So, I had this crazy idea, of trying to request reimbursement for my therapy costs from my health insurer. Of course, I would need a receipt, and/or proof that I received the treatment from the AMP management, which could be a problem since there seems to be no records/paper trail kept in most AMPs, but there is an AMP where I am very trusted, and I may be able to talk them into giving me proof of treatment/receipt. Now, I don't know if this will work, but I'll do a little more research, and give it a try.
Anyone ever tried this before?
I am a moderately frequent monger and recently came down with a case of the scabies.
Because I frequent a couple different establishments, I'm not sure exactly where I became infested.
What I am sure of is scabies is a real embarrassment, requires prescription medication and easily spreads between people.
In an attempt to identify if this was an isolated occurrence or if it is a problem we all need to be aware of, please PM me any recent infestations you have had & I will summarize any results and post here.
Needless to say this has slowed down my activities but I would like to identify the location(s) to avoid and get back to business.

Getting a receipt from an AMP that actually has licenses hanging from the walls may not be hard to do, especially if they take credit cards. But don't get the cart before the horse.
Thanks to Hil Clinton, you will probably need a referral (double entendre) before you can visit your AMP. Unless the referring physician knows and approves the provider (double entendre), then you will have a hard time explaining why he sent you one direction and you wound up in another.

The wonderful thing about my insurance is that I do not need any type of referrals to seek any type of treatment, even if it's treatment form an specialist. Also, I've read a little more about my insurance policy, and I can get treatment from any type of "provider" (Doctor, specialist, or any licensed therapist), as long as they are licensed in the state of VA.
My insurance covers massage, without referral, but it has to be provided by a licensed therapist. The contract clearly states "a referral is never needed." So, I am pretty sure that as long as the therapist is licensed, I am not breaking any rules.
I still have more reading and research to do, so I don't plan on trying this until I feel confident I'm not breaking any rules.

I'm no lawyer, but I don't see how this could ever be considered fraud. I will be filing a claim for a covered service (massage therapy), that I will truely receive, from a licensed/certified massage therapists. The policy clearly states that massage from a licensed/certified therapist is covered. So, as long as the therapists is licensed, and I really receive the therapy, this is in no way any type of fraud. Now, of course, tips come from my pocket. The insurance only covers the massage.
I could go into a chiropractor's office, and receive the same treatment from one of their certified massage therapists too. There is no difference.
I think you can deduct the massage fee if you are referred by your doctor. All you have to do is say I have back issues..blah blah blah.. Can I go here.. ok cool. Get your receipt but do not write off your tip.
Remember the place must have certified VA license to do this.
Either way seems like a bad idea. It's a surefire way to bring in unwanted attention to the AMPs and guess who investigates insurance fraud in VA? The state police!

" You might not need a referral, but you might need a note from your physician to the effect that massage therapy would be helpful for your, uh, stiff joint. Or whatever other condition you come up with. Imagine if you had a massage every day and submitted your bills as medical claims. Your insurer would almost certainly object (. Or jack up your employer's premiums, and then your employer would object), and what do you suppose they'd argue when they deny your claim?

All the usual good things about the place (and unlike some places mentioned recently, this place uses lots of clean towels. I see them come from the washer and dryer on every visit. And they are generous with the towels)
Therapist was Loo. A quiet and quite pretty and tall lady who does not encourage any roaming.
I was very surprised by how busy it was for a Tuesday afternoon. Maybe the level of busy-ness had stressed the ladies a little, because this visit was just "OK". Details below, but truth be told, I found this to be a very atypical visit (not anywhere near the usual level of positive energy and enjoyment). There was nothing to really complain about. There was just no connection between me and Loo (and the lack of engagement made the visit "just OK")
The TS was "OK" -- actually a little better than OK as she at least used lots of soap, and that always feels good. (7.5/10)
The hot towels were hot, and the back work was OK (7/10)
The back-walking was OK (7/10)
The leg work was OK (7/10)
The shoulder/arm work was passible. (6/10)
The flip was OK (but very mechanical) (5/10)
I felt like there was a rush to get me out the door and back to my car (4/10 for how it made me feel -- but the time was actually more than 50-minutes, which although short of the requested hour was close enough to not generate a complaint from me)
Standard rate for the hour, and for "OK" visit - standard tip with no embellishment nor appology (and, as always, no one checked the tip while I was in the room and there was no drama leaving)
Departure -- actually it was the friendliest part with "thanks," and "come see me again soon" (8/10)
What was missing -- no smiles, no encouragement to enjoy, no connection. It had been quite some time since I had been on Loo's table. Now I remember why.

I'm no lawyer either, but I do know it doesn't matter what you think. What matters is what the police, the insurance company, and a jury of your peers think. You're asking for trouble. As a rule of thumb, you want to stay as far away from the legal system as possible, period. Read the intro of the book "You are Going to Prison" by Jim Hogshire.

Why is this topic even being discussed?? This is a cash business. If you seriously think using insurance is a good idea then you really need to pick up another hobby, perhaps skydiving. Hopefully you'll be as bad at that hobby as you are at this one.
