If you know anyone from before that happens to be on HX as well, you can ask them to network you. Otherwise, use your mail privileges to message the dudes who have seen women you're interested in and ask how chill they are / advice on who to get started with. You can also look at classifieds, subscribe to those who pique your interest, and search the forum here to see what people say. I did a ton of that before pulling the trigger on finally meeting someone.
