Many providers work on the hour, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, etc. Getting off schedule would mean losing a time slot. With a limited work day, you lost out, probably to a regular. Hobbying for a long time means I've run across some unusual situations. This was the first time out of three tries that she at least texted back, so it wasn't like this was a first attempt at contact.
