Mr. Coffee, you clearly missed the obvious point that I was writing about mask mandates being good science. I can understand why you are citing stuff that politicised the state orders since, unlike me, you haven't had to intubate an otherwise healthy 37 year old (intubating is putting a tube down the throat of someone to put them on a ventilator). The fact that for a couple of weeks in the Spring some garden shops misinterpreted a state order or that order was overboard (I had no problem shopping in the lawn and garden section at Lowes and my local store at that time) does not change all the lives that were saved by having a statewide mask mandate and social distancing. It is not a coincidence that now that the state supreme court has overturned the governor's statewide orders both the state department of health and local health authorities are reinstituting them. I don't care about the politics. I do care about my patients and their families, and I can tell you the virus doesn't care whether you are democrat or republican, like Whitmer or don't, it just wants to find a way to get into your system amd replicate ans spread.

I agree with most of what you said, but if you are really in the medical field, there is no way you would even consider Mikki, pre covid, covid, or post covid.
