Here is a prime example of YMMV.
After reading ManWithStamina's report on Michelle's spa my friend decided to give it a try. He was leery because there was not alot of info in the report but TOFTT anyways.
The first clue this place was going to be all down hill was a visit on Friday morning. Upon entering the door my friend was greeted but a young white guy in scrubs. He explained that the girls had gone out gambling the night before and had not shown up for work yet. He laughed that off and decided to try again another day.
On Saturday he tried again this time greeted buy an attractive Asian woman. He was led to a room where to his surprise was a Queen size mattress on the floor. Not a futon but a real mattress, his hopes were up, poor bastard. After paying .6 for 30 minutes he got comfortable and waited. In came another attractive Asian but probably in her 40's, nice body but nothing special dressed in white jeans and a white top. The masseuses name was Gina Moon and unless ManWithStamina can give some particulars about who to see this place sounds like a dud.

I went to Oriental Spa #1. It was great started out with a little massage. After 5 min she went right to the point. Pricing $ great experience.

I actually drove by these places today probably just a couple of hours after the bust. I noticed several of them had a note on the door saying something to the effect "Closed by the Sherrif". A drove by several more Vista AMPs out of curiousity and they were all closed, so I figured there must have been a citywide sting. So I'm not suprised to see the article.

I bet it was scary for any mongers who happened to be at those places during the stings, but it seems LE was primairly targeting the businesses and the women, not the customers. AMPs are pretty low risk for mongers.

I did not know there were so many AMPs in Vista. I only knew of 2 or 3.
