I've read it's a selfie with the current date as well as some personal info. Some deem it rather invasive to privacy while others have commented it is necessary. Other ways to get in is through HX or referred in I believe. It is in good nature for protective measures for the providers but just depends what route you go. Hopefully someone's PMd you.
