What I said more or less applies to millenials but the data shows a reasonable amount of people don't get married, particularly men.

So about 18.5% of men have never been married nor were living with a partner at the time of the survey. And I'll allow for the fact that that survey is almost 10 years old so the proportion of unmarried has likely gone up, but that's still a far cry from "most men". In fact, there isn't a huge delta between men who never married and women.
