I know I hate to say it bur I don't trust most of these providers. I myself had some of these ladys go all bat shit crazy on texted to me before over something they have done not me. Like when I don't have a whole lot of time so I ask about QV they say yes but then they don't get back to me for hours. Thats when I tell them I cannot do it now that's when they blow up get all crazy mad. Its crazy with these providers even the ones you think would not do this do it. Like MarblesKyles said he uses Textnow app. I mentioned these apps in the past. I use one I actually have two different ones downloaded. I tell people all the time you need to use one of these apps or for sure a burner phone. I no I don't have a S / O but I still use the app I don't even give provider's my real name I use a fake one you just never know. With a texting app or a burner phone if something crazy happenes like provider get mad at you for something crazy etc. You can just block them delete the number. Or with burner phone just thow it away your done go get a new one. Everyone should use something like this even if you have a S / O or not. Well everyone have a nice day be safe out there.

I have managed to save our relationship.

Since I saw her during the day I was in my work car, which was how her boyfriend at the time knew my business name.

Burner phones and parking out of site are the way to go.

I've texted her a few times in the past to set something up, but it never panned out, and now I'm glad it didn't pan out. I've always used a burner phone, which I'm not very worried about my S / O finding because she's not the type to snoop unless something is really obvious.

Still, the hobby is such that you can take all precautions and still have it blow up in your face for whatever reason. Even though I've learned a lot from the intel provided on this site, I'm kind of surprised I've made it 9 years in the hobby without being outed somehow.

If I had to guess, this is an opsec issue on HL's part at best and an axe to grind at worst. From my dealings, Marley is all business. She's not petty in the least. It's not easy to Google a number and get right to the EB ad. Likely his partner saw the number and figured out the situation very easily.

I've been around here long enough to see people create a new account in order to post something like that they don't want traced back to their real handle. I'm sure it's not a newbie making his very first post here.
