I have a question for you guys.

Several months ago I fucked up & signed up on one of those so-called 'free sex' websites. Almost instantaneously I regretted it because I started getting bombarded with all kinds of emails containing porn level photos, promos, etc. So within days I cancelled my account & for a short time it all stopped.

Then I started getting the emails with photos again, supposedly from single / divorced women claiming they are looking for a one-night stand, or a FWB situation.

Then, a few weeks again, different emails began arriving, however, they ONLY included a MS Word document, nothing else. I haven't opened any of the Word documents & immediately delete the email because I assume there's something hiding inside that wants to create all kinds of hell for me.

Do any of you have any experience with these kinds of emails and do you have any idea what's really inside those Word documents?

And short of actually changing my email address, do you have suggestions on how to put a stop to all this unwanted porn / spam emails? I realize that's a naive question, but I had to ask anyway.

G, Excel, Word, etc) may automatically run the malware. More recent versions ask you before executing the code / script or even straight up block them. But yeah, definitely do _NOT_ open any attached documents in spam emails.
