Sorry Nrlmus have to side with A2 on this, no part of any branch of the government is on the peoples side, they are elected officials that have their own agendas & it does not include service to the people, if it did any law introduced would have to be voted on by the people which will never happen.

TER is also hosted abroad, but US IP addresses are blocked. However, you just need to use a VPN to get access to TER or any other site hosted abroad and blocked here in the US.

A few good ones are ExpressVPN and TunnelBear VPN. Reviews on both are very positive. Not sure which one I'll try.

The issues are deep and I suspect that server location can be a help but not a complete solution in the end. I agree with Oldmonger. Finding a few good safe friends on here and then taking the conversation privately may be the only answer in the end. Twere best done quickly, before the hammer drops.

They all are pathologically scared to be against SESTA-FOSTA because that would instantly put their lives under the microscope for possible abuse, harassment, and emotional (if there is no physical) mistreatment of women. if you put any one of our lives under extreme scrutiny we all would be going down. Point out somebody who needs to be charged and they'd find you an article to charge him / her with. LOL. An old gangster's proverb, true in many ways, especially at the present time.

It depends. Providers who have an established client base and are good at business will be OK. They will figure it out.

On the other end, those with substance addictions, supporting children, or couldn't make it with a conventional job and have no other skills or education may be in trouble.

There will probably be an increase in massage parlors and strip clubs.

There's other types of sex-work like web-cam girls, but who wants to watch a skanky crack *****?

I predict an increase in street prostitution.

Also pimps and those who exploit these women may see an opportunity.

The cash-and-dash and boyfriend in the next room who robs clients will find another type of crime to commit.

It may be time for government to commit more money for drug treatment and training to help these women.

My last post here. You ain't going to convince me of nuthin' and vice versa. Instead of picking apart #metoo as the main cause, where's your mention of the ultra-strong super-organized influence of the CRC? The CRC cannot keep themselves out of other people's freedoms, unless it's a freedom THEY believe in. Ie owning an AR 15. The CRC got many of these Republicans that run the three branches of our govt into power. And it's their money and voting power that's behind this soon-to-become law just as much as anything else.
