As a long time hobbiest, I often wonder what has happened to some of my old friends. Tammy was one I saw when she was young and fairly attractive. I saw her quite a few times over theyears, and saw some of the downward spiral you mentioned, but not all. The first thing I saw go were her teeth.
I never had any trouble at all with her, although once she called out my name a couple of times as I was driving down Wilkens with a co-worker. I turned the radio louder and started conversing.
