That night we talk / texted she told me some of the things that you had mentioned. She didn't speak of some of the others things you brought up. For once without expectations in exchange. Watching her die a bit day by day became too hard as our friendship grew. I stepped away from being her client weeks ago even as she continued her previous ways. Never abandoning her but no longer helping her fund her own passing. But I need to clear up that I am not saving her. If it was only that "easy" I would have long before her last several unfortunate events. However I am pleased to be on point in trying to keep her focused and motivated even as others are offering shelter and support until she is able to do it all on her own. The risks of failure are very high but the effort alone has already been more satisfying than the dreams I've missed.

And if there is a girl strong, smart and stubborn enough to beat her demons I have to think she has a better chance than most. If and or when she succeeds the payoff will be a life not lost to all the craziness!! If not then it will have delayed the other worse outcomes and maybe laid the foundation for a future success. I remain her friend, walking behind or beside her as needed as long as she is willing to fight. In a large part due to the fact that she is one of very few that through the years never lied or played me. Even when she could have and it would have benefited her in the short run. She earned my respect as more than she could have been over time and with what is most missed in this hobby, honesty. Now I am trying to make that pay off for her.

So I dreamt of this one today, kind of wish I hadn't. I've had my eye on her from some other dreams told here, but finally pulled the trigger.
