Woman arrested in Huntsville, Ala., is believed to have appeared in a sex tape that was used to extort a Minnesota man, who killed himself over the ordeal, investigators allege.HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Shannon Blair Spears Gura was arrested in Huntsville and extradited back to Minneapolis on Wednesday in a case in which investigators say a man faced extortion of more than half a million dollars after he had videotaped sex with a prostitute, according to a Minnesota TV report.
Bloomington police found Daniel Kreye dead in a park last month, with a note inside his vehicle that said: "I am being extorted over $500,000. Best for my family and friends," according to a criminal complaint.
Police already have charged Rickey Eugene Pouncil and Christina Lynn Artac with 2 counts of coercion for allegedly threatening Kreye, who was married, that they would expose his relationship with prostitutes if he did not pay them.
According to the criminal complaint, Pouncil alleged he had video of Kreye and a prostitute named "Shannon," later identified as Shannon Blair Spears Gura, having sex. Pouncil and Artac ran a Shakopee, Minn., escort business called High Five Erectors since 1987, WCCO reported.
It was not clear as of this evening how long Gura had been in Huntsville or what she was doing there.

I had something similar to that happen to me around 15 years or so back when I used to bring girls back to my place regularly. Yeah. The paper called 'Booked' says on the July 22 issue's front cover 'last issue' with an explanation on the inside. It says Jefferson County Sheriff Dept has discontinued the practice of releasing the mug shots to the general public and media outlets. It also said instead of running only mug shots from Shelby and Tuscaloosa, or reprinting old ones as new they decided to 'leave with integrity'. I figured the appearance of those mug shot papers would eventually mean the demise of the releases of the mug shots. It started with one, then like two to three others appeared all within a few months of each other. In all, there were around four altogether. Someone else is profiting from their mug shots and if they can't have even a piece of the pie then no one will.
The mug shots had been spotty for the last year or so anyway when at least a third of every new one that appeared didn't have a picture. That was annoying, but what now infuriates me more than anything else is losing the ability to see them for other reasons than the obvious being able to identify SW and the like. This takes away anybody's ability to see who's been arrested. Some people might want to know what that person looks like with an address down the street that got arrested. It's basically the same type reason I spoke out against not being allowed to post mug shots here, with the reason here being to identify who might rob or carry HIV.
I have said over and over when they became spotty on the sheriff site that the mug shots were public record and we have the right to see them, but I also know they posted them online when they didn't have to. Tuscaloosa used to also post arrestees addresses a while back, but they discontinued the practice. Now we can see photos in Tuscaloosa but no addresses, and addresses in Birmingham but no photos, lol. Public records are things we have the right to request, but most are made public by someone physically requesting those records in person. But nowadays when doing most anything online is nothing more than the stroke of a key, it makes no sense for public records not to be easily accessible online. The greed of the county is the exact reason they took them down. If someone bought every paper each week they were paying $4 for papers with mug shots printed in them, mug shots the county took to which they were making no money on. This was something they really couldn't charge the public for, yet they weren't going to let the weekly papers profit when they couldn't. If those papers never appeared we would still have the mug shots online as we speak. I don't like it at all, but I do see why it happened.
The problem I have with it is most every city in the country has both and they have no problem with it. Yet we're always the oddball place that has to have some stupid ass reason to keep us from having the same as others. Usually it's our overwhelming moral views or religious beliefs, but this time it's just pure greed. I wonder what sack cloth Larry's having for dinner tonight.
That would seem to be the case given the fact that the news comes up with mugshots on occasion that are not on the jeffco site.
And I presume they have them internally to avoid mistakenly letting the wrong guy out.
Its probably 10 seconds per inmate of extra work but with the budget cuts decided it was not needed. And so instead of putting the pics up, they sit there twidling their thumbs instead.

They'll probably say publicly it was budget cuts as the reason they stopped publishing the mug shots. Maybe they couldn't afford the extra medical coverage for possible alligator bites and had to make adjustments internally. You know like I do that they'd been doing a crappy job updating the mug shots for almost a year now as it is. Any new arrest came up as having no photo, and ones who had been arrested in the past had old mug shots attached. I'm just betting it was because of the amount of papers that were selling everywhere and them receiving no profit for it. They would look stupid saying they were pissed someone else was profiting from public records and they couldn't do a thing about getting any of it. I've wrote many posts about the Adams Inn before. The signage outside right when it changed hands said Adam on one side, and Amad on the other. They then changed the sign to read Adams Inn on both sides. Used to, there was a side entrance at the far right on the front side where girls used to hang out. It got very active summer before last, and you could always count on there being girls hanging out around that door. I didn't know that there was an adult bookstore in that area - I only knew about the stores on 1st. I will also try 8th Ave. West - that's a new area to my travels. Things looked dry on my last drive through, but these things go in cycles.
I did see your complaint about the weird poster but I think it was just somebody fooling around. I knew what the purpose was. The purpose was to become 'friendly' with the others here so they could possibly receive PMs regarding info about contact info of whatever girl there might be doing business at the time. And it wasn't so much someone being LE or not. It was when I realized the R W identity was the same person as Ez Rydr. It's like they're pulling out all their disposable IDs at one time to see which one can appear most friendly and which one the known posters here will bite on so they'll know which one to use and continue to be part of the 'in group' and receive info just by sending PMs. And there's no way conversations here would be used to build cases on someone about their intent to monger, comparing mongering to the 'to catch a predator' type stuff is completely different. I could see these keystone cops coming after me because of things I'd talked about here saying I was 'intending on picking up a SW', or telling the judge 'well he wrote about his exploits on this forum for years. They'd be saying 'get the hell out of my courtroom'. For one thing, to catch someone picking up a SW is something that has to be seen. Now using the conversations relating to CL, BP or escort ads that's something different since those things many times are stings.
I'm happy to report that Jessie is back near the Hiway Host. I got full service (covered) for $.30 I carried her to a place that I know is safe. I do think the meth is affecting her but she's still a good fuck. Stay safe and be careful!
I may be new to this forum, but I have been reading it for years. This forum used to be informative and helpful for the area's activity but seems to have lost its focus. The girls are fewer in numbers and even less in quality. Before this site came along, this hobby was going on just fine.
Like most, I am not rolling in dollars to the point of even visiting BP or CL to tease myself with some fugly or fake poster. Gas money is too tight to waste it driving around aimlessly. That is why most of us are here.
