I had an hour to kill while visiting Baltimore (I'm closer to DC most of the time), and finally took the plunge. I did the DC scene back in the day, and the Times Square scene when there was one. And I've visited Manila and Bangkok. I got to say, the Block is a world unto itself. I felt naive, being a bit flabbergasted at what goes on a block from the station.

I meandered for while (mid-afternoon), and finally drifted into an establishment that had the vibe I was looking for (not too fancy, not too seamy). Only one other patron there at the bar, and maybe three girls in view waiting for something to happen while another whiled away the time on stage. I chatted with the bartender, who was a friendly guy, and asked him to explain to me how things worked. I liked the look and personality of the first girl who sidled up to me. (I have a terrible memory for names. About 30 years old, with an English accent.) I knew by that point that I didn't have much time, and that I wanted to experience the full glory of a sleepy afternoon on the block. So I bypassed the "lady drink" option and went straight for a "lap dance," which is a twenty minute adventure in an alcove behind strings of beads. In contrast to what some others have experienced, I got quite a ride.

She made it clear on the way that I could touch her anywhere. She then proceeded to guide my hands and make sure I touched her everywhere. She also made sure my mouth went everywhere, moving aside any article of clothing in the way. She kissed me, a lot, open-mouthed and very sensuously. Kissed my neck hard, stuck her tongue in my ears. Went to redroom a couple times (I am a frequent customer) visit yesterday was very disappointing. Went VIP with Nilla. Very cute girl, very beautiful but she was overselling and had too many things she wouldn't do. She was good but I was turned off by how she switched stuff once the session started. Probably won't repeat. My previous visit 2 weeks ago was with Nichole. She is just awesome, very nice personality and she makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you have a good VIP experience. I would recommend Nichole.

I've been to Strip Clubs in many cities, but have never been to the Block and I don't live in Baltimore but may make a road trip to check it out from VA.

#1 - What is the deal with parking? I presume I have to park somewhere else and walk to the "Block". Where would be recommended? Or perhaps even a train ride from the VA / DC area if there is a station right there.

Are there cabs roaming that area to get in / out of the region?

#2 - I'm really interested in some good stage shows I can sit and watch for quite a while with a buddy or two. Probably some lap dances but definitely a no go for private rooms or "max" extras.

Recommendations? Was thinking perhaps the Hustler Club, but again I'm really have no idea.

2. Pop in and out of the clubs and see which one fits your standards. If the Block clubs don't work for you, 4 minutes away is Scores. I am positive you will find one that fits your needs.

3. The Block is safe. Even without the presence of the main police precinct, which is literally down the st. All the color that matters is Green. Go forth and have fun.

I personally haven't been down there in years.

Perhaps there are 15 strip bars (and one regular bar) in this very small space. This is on the edge of what you might call downtown Baltimore.

#1 - I park on the street very near the block. Depending on the time of day, there may be plenty of parking or it may be limited. Much of the area has nearby parking pay stations where you pay for your parking and then put the receipt on your dashboard. I think it comes to $2/ hour; I pay with a stack of quarters but I think the machines also take credit cards. Pay attention to the allowable parking hours so you don't get towed.

#2 - I'm too cheap to frequently pay for the Hustler Club so I seldom go, but, there are many clubs in the area that are free of a cover charge. They all have stage shows. The word "good" is subjective. Most of girls on stage are drug addicted and do not look good when naked. But, there are some that look very good.

My recommendation would be to park nearby and then just walk into and out of each bar until you've been inside every one. It will take about 10 seconds per bar for you to know if you want to stay. Some will have many girls, some will have very few. Then, go back to the bar that suits your taste. If you don't like anything, you might then want to pay the cover at Hustler. Just because somebody has a good experience at a particular club on Wednesday doesn't mean the same girls will be there on Thursday or that you will have a nice time when you try it.

Bring your own booze but well worth it based on your description of wants.

Screw the block. Wagon wheel is the better place.

Was hanging out on the block tonight and hopped around. I can only speak about the clubs that have at least some girls working, but around midnight most of them were packed. A lot of girls and a lot of customers. Last week it was slim pickings for the girls, but tonight there were enough customers that it was almost like open season on us.

Best looking girls. As usual probably the Pussycat (but not my favorite club).

No extras in the VIP but last time I was there, takeout can be had.

In actuality, the legal brothels are over an hour outside of Vegas.

You can park at a garage but will cost more.

2. girls at the block, are more sleazy, but they do more, can touch places. Some clubs have place for private lap dance. But if you want only lap dances.

Then go to a better club. The block is more gritty and for those that want more then lap dances. Places such as mcdougals or Players Club At Wagon Wheel.

Would better suit your needs.

I haven't been to Night Shift or McDougals in years. Has anyone been to either place lately? Are they both still BYOB? What's the cover charge? How is the entertainment?
