You can not call ahead. I was lucky this weekend. I walked in and it was jamming. I asked the guy if they were at capacity and he said "we are now" and had to take the next guys info. Actually got lucky twice cause I went in, had 2 drinks and went in the back with this one I like and left. Then went back later And they remembered me and didn't charge me cover.
