Just to clarify something that my screening so far has protected my ass! Not too long ago I had a gent try and see me and guess what. I found out he was recently busted in a sting. So here is the scenario. Gent gets busted. Cops say work with us and we will reduce your sentence. Gent says ok and contacts other ladies. Gent sees ladies who does no screening and BAMM. I think this is all self-explanatory.

However, it is a guys choice to get screened or not and I respect that. But. My process is there to protect me and you! Oh yes it does too. Cause without screening you might just get in a situation that is not tooo pretty. I don't think I need to clarify anymore.

One more thing, I have been around for almost 4 yrs and my reputation is crucial to me. I have years of reviews on other sites and if a gent finds me not trusthworthy then that is his choice to move on. However, AS MY SITE SAYS. I will gladly accept an email of the information or to discuss his feelings on the screening. I am not hard nosed and understand the process. Guess that is what being mature is all about. Maturity is worth the investment!

I fully understand and respect a lady's security needs, but asking for anything beyond a first name; especially from a fellow-member on these boards is ludicrous! C'mon girls, there are tens of thousands of verified members on here USA (and other like-minded sites) from all over the country whose non-vital info, track record and opinions of your sisters can be easily found. Such info is more than enough to qualm any fears you may have of entering into a business transaction with a new client. If you were to be approached by Old Pumper for the first time and did not know of his character, you would need to look no farther than his track record by reading his posts and contact with other members to know if he was Leo or worse; someone of criminal intent. To expect me or ANY member to give you our life-story prior to meeting for the first time is worse than foolish on the part of the client, it's just plain stupid with a capital S! It's who else may come into contact with our info if something were to go wrong down the road with regard to what security measures Makenzie (or other provider demanding vital info) takes. Once your vital info leaves YOUR hands, you have lost control over who and what sees it, along with where and when it becomes public. Does anyone remember the Mayflower Madam or Heidi Fleiss? Neither of them ever dreamed of handing over client-info to the authorities, yet that's exactly what they did once the prosecutors and the IRS threatened them with life behind bars.

Do you really want to place your person and personal security in the hands of "anonymous" others?

So, you screen someone, everything looks good, you make the date, then you get a gun pulled on you. How does that screening work out? This is a business that has many risks. Ask the girls who survived the Craigslist killer. Med school student, comes from a well to do family, no flags raised. Results. A couple of girls dead, and a few that survived the attacks. How does the saying go,"Everything is good until someone gets hurt". Same applies to screening. Everythings good until your personal info gets into the wrong hands.

Let me ask you one question. If a hobbyist asked you for the same info that you require from him, would you give it up? I sincerely doubt that you would.

Again, I respect that you require screening. But there are those of us who will not give out any info other than a first name. I've had one provider in all of my hobbying years that wouldn't see me unless I gave her my work phone number. I thanked her for her time and moved on. I learned during my military and Dept. Of Defense career to be vigilant when it comes to anything personal.

I do not take credit cards (that asks for vital information) or home addresses or social security numbers. I just think all of this is has been over dramatized and each individual ladies process is not looked at.

Please look at my site. It clearly states that if you don't want to provide me some information let me know. Many a times I have only gotten first name and age, along with cell number, city live in, race, height and weight AND references and the guy passed my screening.

Point is. If you really want to see the lady. Contact her and ask. It does not hurt. If you don't want to bother then don't.

And oh just so you all know, I don't keep information anywhere. Believe you me, I know alot of ladies who don't keep information. You are more safer with someone independent than you are with a lady who has a pimp or an agency.

I never said it was 100% but no reason to attack my intelligence and what I do. However, did those ladies screen that had those unfortunate things happen to them? Most ladies who get into those situations do not screen. Just recently 2 girls in Orlando got attacked and guess what, they never screened! So you really can't use that as an example to flip back onto me.

What extra measure of protection does knowing a client's last name, work info or seeing his driver's license provide? I'm being serious here. I've noticed that whenever the "safety versus privacy" discussion as it pertains to screening comes up providers tend to paint it as screening versus not screening and hobbyists paint it as common sense screening versus overly invasive screening. I'm in favor of common sense screening and I don't see the common sense in showing my identification or telling a provider where I work, much less giving her the phone number to human resources along with my extension. That's fucking nuts.

I've heard the talking points;"you should be happy that we screen, we do it for your safety as well, why don't you go get a SW, they don't screen, bla bla bla". As I understand it (please correct me if I'm wrong) the purposes of screening from a provider's perspective are to (1) ensure that the client is who he says he is, (2) to ensure that the client is not LEO or someone who wants to harm you and (3) to ensure that the person who knocks on the door is the same person who made the appointment, sent the emails, chatted on the phone etc. And all of this is supposed to keep you safer (ie not raped, robbed, killed or arrested). Got it. I completely understand, respect and sympathize with the provider's point of view.

Here's my point of view.

If membership on a verification site ensures the client is who he says he is, provider references ensure that the client is not LEO or a psycho, and a safe word ensures that the person who knocks on the door is the same person who made the appointment, sent the emails, chatted on the phone etc, then what extra measure of protection does a provider get from seeing a client's driver's license or knowing he's the electronics department manager at Wal-Mart? The driver's license part baffles me even moreso than the work info. If a guy is already in your room and presumably within arm's reach then he's already in a position to do whatever harm he intends to do. What is being accomplished by asking for his identification?

I'm relatively new and I'd really like a non-grand standy un-snarky answer. I'm not trying to be a jackass but I am not understanding the logic of super screeners.
