One place you should definitely check out is a bar called DC Eagle, 600 something New York Ave. NW near the Convention Center. All types there, big, little, and they have rooms upstairs. It's a scene. Looks a little hood from outside (look for the black doors), but it's a regular bar, good people and all the action you could handle. Opens in the afternoon, which is a good sign.

Editorials such as that belong in newspapers for audience members such as yourself to read, Not among barbarians who brave inclement weather,uncle leo, and various other street elements for the sheer victory of a nut and a photo op.
