Deceptive Pictures
Lawyer up? What does she have to lawyer up about? The city council had no comment on anything. It was a bunch of soccer moms and their ball less husbands who attended the city council meeting and brought up the issue. And what could an attorney do for her about the comments made at the city council meeting?
Again the big issue is, most of these places use pictures of young girls dressed very sexy, when in reality they are all 40 plus, giving the illusion that something might be going on. They bring a lot of the scrutiny on themselves. I bet some of the husbands in the room were a little nervous because I bet a lot of them partake in the services out there. Maybe not so much anymore though.
I love the fact that the deceptive pictures that some of these places use could be part of what is getting them in hot water. They have been using these tactics for years. There is a price war going on with the Chinese Parlors out in the Marietta area. One of the providers has start using pics with girls in bathing suits. This same owner use to have posting in her rooms stating that they would call the police if you suggested anything inappropriate. We should be smarter. On that note what is the deal with the 39. 99 an hour massage. They only want to massage your back area and continue to try to up sell you on a 90 min massage that cost $80. 00. So, you end up spending $40for an additional half hour. We fall for it because, if we don't get a flip, there is no chance possible for anything extra. We fall for anything. When I say we, I am the first on the list. Happy Endings to All.
I agree that the hypocrisy is hilarious. However, they mentioned that they want to follow the examples set in Duluth. That being the case they found ways to pressure several businesses to got out of business with continuous fines for the slightest administrative infractions. They will be very aggressive until they find something else to go after.
I hear what you are saying BUT it seem like these " foot massage" places act like some of these Asian " Philly Wings" places or " hair weave or nail places " LOL LOL they have them on every damn street corner and every damn red light if they would spread them out a little I don't think they would bring so much attention to their business and they could stay open and people could go in them and everyone is happy BUT like so many Asian business they get to damn hungry and greedy for a dollar once they see another Asian place doing well they jump right on top of them across the street etc. Etc. And then they start telling and calling the Police on one another so dumb. On one hand I take my hat off to them for being smart and starting a business BUT they can do dumb shit when it comes to getting greedy for every damn dollar. UNTIL all of them get shut down. Look at Clayton county by the airport there was a time you could park your car and walk to almost 10 Asian Spa's on one side of the street within a half a block LOL LOL NOW they all shut down in that area that little Moist Police Chief Hill put a stop to all that shit.

Kid Cisco
Kid is exactly right, they just eat their young and then all are history. This is similar to what happened in Greensboro NC in the late 90's G'boro had some of the best AMPs with FS offered by very hot gals. Mostly Korean. Then the places started in-fighting and people (aka: residents) noticed and it eventually got too much attention and became a campaign issue for the County District Attorney race. One of the guys running made it a central issue and he won and shut down every place and it became and likely is still completely dry.

Kid Cisco
Man, did you really have to remind me of how things were in Clayton County. I moved here at the height of debauchery, and my wife could not understand why I was working out so much, always tired, but wasn't losing any weight (LOL). I can't even drive near Tara without getting sad. Nowadays, we are lucky if we can find a place that doesn't scoff at DIY. I agree with the over saturation, that's why I'm against continuing to support these places that give terrible massages but,"might accidentally" bump your buddy a couple of times, just enough to make you think that you might be the lucky guy to break the code (LOL).

JC Massage Places
We have probably talked this subject to death. But I think it's wise to summarize where we are: (1) the ads use deceptive pictures to lure us in, (2) the massages usually are just okay with lots of teasing in order to get you to extend from 1 hour to 1. 5 hours, (3) the women are usually older and not very hot, (4) it usually takes 2+ visits to get anything more than a rub and tease, if anything else is available, (5) the JC community is pressuring the police to do something about these massage places, (6) the mayor is not happy with the situation making LE enforcement activity more likely, and (7) if it takes 2+ visits to go, we need to invest at least $ 150 before we "may" get some relief.
So my question to the board is. Why do any of us go to these places? I am not judging, just asking.
So my question to the board is. Why do any of us go to these places? I am not judging, just asking. AL
Good question AL. There are plenty of sure things for $150, but there is some thrill in the chase and seeing what you can get to happen. I guess that's what keeps me going. That plus hopefully a more decent massage than you'd get at the $150 sure thing.

Why. Why. Why
I go because I love a good massage and if I at least get that I'm not disappointed. The teasing is fun, and any "extra" that I happen into is considered just that. An extra (which I'm certainly not opposed to in any way). Funny thing is, I'll repeat for the extra a few times but once I just know it's available and how things will "end" it's not as much fun and I start the hunt all over again.

Outcall
Gents,
I travel to the Atlanta area every week and stay in a nice upscale hotel. I've tried a few of the AMP in the area but really have nothing "new" to report. It's all been said, and my experience hasn't varied from the info available on the site (thanks for the great reviews).
I've been curious about a few of the "outcall" providers on BP and CL, but not comfortable enough to give it a try. I love a good massage and not really looking for FS, but would love a nice comfortable relaxing time. Does anyone have any insight or experience with outcall?
Thanks

Why we go
So my question to the board is. Why do any of us go to these places? I am not judging, just asking.
AL
Marco and Ral both make good points. *Probably the better question is why do we let the providers control the session like that so much. Southbound mentioned the upsell for a flip. Are you kidding me? You are the customer and if they won't let you flip within an hour, then walk. If I'm seeing a new provider, I always tell them up front what I want: more time on front, or back, shoulders, legs, whatever. If they resist, then say no thanks and leave. They'll usually change their tune. Sometimes I'll even put my phone by my head with the timer visibly running and say something like I want 30 min on back. 30 on front. The trick is to be assertive, while at the same time being friendly. Fine line. And be clear on what you want up front. *
As for why I go at all, sure I understand if you want to fuck a spinner, then go ahead and drop the 200-300 where you know what you'll get. *But there's also something to be said for getting a great therapeutic massage from a decent looking woman (not a dime, but not a hag either) with just a HE finish (no FS). Those $300 girls can't give an actual massage. Back in the day, that wasn't too hard to come by. *It's getting harder and harder to find these days, but still the only way to find it is to look. And read the reviews. Just my 2 cents. *

CnB
AL, and you guys are all correct. I am just unhappy with the current state of mongering. Instead of being assertive, I just don't go back. Mongers unite!

AL
Everyone made good comments so far. I'm not there for the "hunt" in hopes I finally get a HE after multiple visits. I'm there for a good massage because it's reasonable and I know a more expensive CMT won't do any better. I also realize that happy endings are no longer standard so I focus on enjoying the massage. If I get a HE, great, I'll share it with a few trusted friends since it's now a rarity.

AL
These people in JC killed my UTR. Funny thing is that 99% is totally legit. They act like its the opposite. Why are people so afraid of what they do not know anything about? Pisses me ofF!

I wonder how the soccer moms in JC are going to feel when the old Ying Yang location on Medlock opens back up in a couple weeks! For the ones that visit those places, you will see a lot of turnover. A lot of them were using unlicensed therapists. The fear out there now is that they are going to start doing like Duluth, where they would go into the places, have all the girls come out of their rooms and verify I'd and therapist license. They can not shut them down for no reason, but they will keep trying till they find a reason. For shits and giggles, I read the JC massage guidelines on their website. They have rules like how long their shorts have to be and shirts must have sleeves, girls must wear underwear and rooms must have at least a 40 watt lightbulb. This is how they will force stores to close.
