No matter what sort of history you think you have, it will basically never happen. They use morality as a tool. So if things are bad, they will tell you a sob story, and try make you feel bad for not helping them. Truth be told when the shoe is on the other foot, no matter what you are going through effectively none of these girls would give you a session for free. They are optimizing their experience and using your sense of morality against you. Just keep it simple, this is a transaction, if she wants money she works for it. There are plenty of charity funds, government programs, friends, and family that she should be reaching out to for support during rough times, how does that fall on you? If the mail man begged you to give him 100 $ because he's short on rent, would anyone really give it to him? When she texts you with a sob story asking for undeserved money, why not just ignore her the same way she ignores you when you reach out to her but another monger offers her more money?

It's almost as if they can't stand giving a "freebie" even if it was already prepaid for.

If you pay in advance, you probably will never see them professionally again. There is something profoundly missing in their synoptic interchanges that can not conceive of providing any service without payment at the time, irregardless of how much you have paid in advance for it. Even if they have solemnly sworn they would honor the arrangement. This blind spot is one of the greatest mysteries of their profession. I have seen this in providers that I have had a stable and mutually satisfying professional relationship for 5 to 12 years. Somehow they do not see the value they are loosing by not seeing a client twice a month for a monthly total of $400 times 12 months in a year in exchange for not providing a prepaid service. At this point they had rather keep the $200 and lose the $400 a month and consequently a year's total of $4,800. This is an enigma beyond any understanding. It is a mystifying phenomenon indeed. Sad.
