You could filter by body type, hair color, breast size, specific sexual acts, skin color, country of origin, price, and location. I was really spoiled for choice while I was there. And then I came back to the US and I realized that compared to Escort-Ireland, the Backpage was pretty shitty. I learned to deal with it, but everytime I got used to the way things were done on the BP, things changed again. Whatever, I'm not sure if it's even worth it anymore. So I go to this website and see a screen shot of my entire text exchange along with my pic and my phone number with an offer to remove it if I paid $$. Obviously it was a scam and even if you paid, they would not remove your profile and would probably ask you to pay more.
I didn't pay anything, but for about 18 months this site was live (hosted out of India. Far outside the reach of any legal course of action) with my mug and phone number on it attached to a text thread that clearly showed my intention. Anyone who googled my phone number would have gotten this site as one of their top responses from the search engine.
Eventually, the site disappeared. Somehow. As far as I know. This never came back to haunt me. But I had high anxiety for a long time.

That's one of the reasons girls don't want to send face pics. The other main reason being that you could turn out to be a friend or family member.
