https://www.dupagecounty.gov/States_Attorney/States_Attorney_News/2022/66600/
As I know this exact place, however don't recall the details or if it ever came to my awareness when it happened. So the offender's age if one notes is 63 ish now as 1959 dob and I am 1952 at 70 this year. So given the minimum sentence if he does half of that he is still going to be a very old man or may indeed die in prison. The younger guy in his late 20's at the time I mean totally senseless. I need to look into the further details here as I am sure there is much between the lines reading to attend to. Be careful please. I am seeing gas station rage! In b ville yesterday by the airport with the hot weather, gas prices and station jam ups plus all the guns (and I am pro 2nd BTW) there have been a lot of very senseless deaths. There is just no value on human life any longer! Stosh. Ranting as usual. Safe fellaz.

They would post under numerous numbers and listings on backpage to try to lure guys to that location. They would use fake pics and the ads would make references to services for reasonable rates. Upon arriving at the location, the duped client would be charged an upfront amount of money and lead into a back room. An unattractive woman would enter the room and proceed with a lackluster massage. After a short amount of time, the clients would then ask about the services that they paid up front for. The girl would either deny those services were available or would state exorbitant prices for them such as 500 for a L1 and 10 k for L3. Thus the clients would be out of their original upfront investment which was no small amount if I recall correctly. Suffice it to say, the deceased was likely one of the security members the location had to handle irate clients who would demand their money back and not receive it.
Of course, murder cannot be justified. But one can easily understand how and why this happened. The bigger question is why was this place allowed to exist? It was there for many years with a sign that said girls, girls, girls or hot girls or something similar on the front. And there was constant trouble there due to the scamming. My belief is that the local pd were in on it.

Spa guy comes out and wants more money and threatens to kick ass. Old guy says not today and caps him. Cameras show incident, jury says old guys life was not in danger. If spa guy grabbed him first shooting may have been deemed justified given the age difference.

I hope the place is gone with the wind. Wouldn't surprise me if they were in cahoots with LEO, especially how that press release was written.

https://www.dupagecounty.gov/States_Attorney/States_Attorney_News/2022/66600/
Over my initial inquiry, gents! I really appreciate it! Yea I knew the drill and the place amongst others was known as a "jackshack". I have been trying to help a dude going through a foreclosure down in melrose so I was at the flea doing that by looking at his paperwork from the court and lawyers, however I will attend to this and dig a little deeper to see if I can find the original story. I would say everyone that commented is completely right on point! I got sucked into that one by what was the old palwaukee airport on palatine road. It's like a few hot young babes in lingerie and heels hang around the front entrance and then they say oh for this amount you can get personal with this lady. Once in the room they read you the rules and what it really costs and yea it could be into the 1000's. When I asked for my money back (in my case I toftt for only 80 bucks) a big dude comes out from behind a curtain to discuss the deal when I asked for my cash back. He said I could go back in the room with her, however she would leave her clothes on, allow no touching and do 1 dance or song. I just left and chalked it up! Now speaking of karma I did track the place and they were busted out by the village of wheeling! A supposed "dance studio" was a hustle jackshack and someone came in and then had some clout to get them gone! So good. Every dog will have his day!! I think without even looking further into this the dude was supposed to pay more cash, didn't, was followed and the customer figured WTF I'll just blow him away!! I am sure the girls paid for the funeral, put his family through college and even bought the family a house!! Then I woke up!! Stosh all I know and thanks again, boyzz your efforts do not go unnoticed by this old as f**k stale old half gallon of paint that has been sitting in the garage for 5 years! Or more!!

It's a known hustle shack! They make it appear that he was working at a christian science reading room!! WTF?? I noticed that the first time, however after it was brought up it's darn glowing and I wonder as well now who wrote this? I mean what's next and I am sorry dude is dead, however "no reason at all" is laughable. Stosh. Rip to the dude as really he was in a weird place doing weird things. Actually for some reason in my old a** mind I think I saw an ad for security for this very place in the way past! The only thing I remember was that they had to take taxes out and it was by check and not a cash job. I was actually doing security downtown at the time so that would be several years prior to this incident.

I'd like to think this site is an example of "bros before h0es" literally. But men or not, I can't have sympathy or empathy for anyone making a living or performing actions that rob people or get over on them.
Apparently there was a long investigation leading up to this. (Hoping my license plate does not show up on their list)
How does something like this play out? How would LE tie someone in after the fact?
This place was busted about 3 years ago and from what I can tell it is just hanging out there in limbo. I just don't see how there would be any real public interest all these years later. https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndil/press-release/file/1203506/download.

Second bust in Tinley in the last couple weeks.

Second bust in Tinley in the last couple weeks.
It's interesting. I doubt most of the people replying are mongers, yet there is not a single reply from readers applauding the arrest. Fifty percent seem to be jokers trying to be funny and the other fifty percent are asking why this is a priority for police given other pressing concerns or that it's time to legalize sex work.
